If you have some gauze, or possibly make do with paper towel, wrap it fairly tightly, and/or apply pressure. Too bad if it is on the tip. All those nerve endings.

Right now I'm holding a tissue on it which seems to be working. The funny thing is that the blade was so sharp that I didn't even feel it happen so there is no pain for me to have to deal with, although something tells me that it is going to ache a bit as it heals

I have to report for jury duty tomorrow. I will dress in my best Goth attire. I wonder if the defense attorney / barrister will accept me as a juror?

I'm sure you'll fit right in! My parents got out of jury duty twice already. For some odd reason they always get called around the same time.

Once again Nevan saves her boss' ass.
If only I could put a price tag on all of these non-work related favours.

Man, he sure looks like a tortoise. A very geeky one. He has as much talent for speech as an ant-eater. That is, none at all.

..still actually have some kind of respect of the man. After all, he donates ridiculous amounts of money to really good projects and research.

No, not Windows..

Have any particularly blessed events occurred, or are you naturally in a chipper mood this day?
I must confess, I suspect you of stealing the joy from the computer users around me. Never have I seen so many sour faces!

Payday.

Unfortunately it began with an urgent mail stating that one of my forum software licenses was expiring so I had to plunk down 84 Euro (damn VAT) for another year. Got better later when I bought a nice, big bottle of Absolut. Always good to have that around, just in case. Hm, what else.. oh, yeah. Mist. There's lots of mist outside. Me like.

Sounds like a wonderful day! Alas, no mist here. Just blinding winter sunlight, and me without my sunglasses.
Must get sunglasses.
Surely *one* of those ebay shops will have the types I want-need. Reckon I'd suit aviators, or best to stick with the little round lens ones?

*chants* Aviators, aviators, aviators...

Which reminds me, I must find me a pair of Wayfarer clones.
