You're indirectly implying that you're filthy.

Thats great news honey thorn.
I've lost about 10% of my body weight now which was my original target. Got to pick another one soon.

my target is to lose 60 pounds, by the end of summer I want to be 180 lbs, is that still overweight for a person who is 5 foot 7 inches?

It may be a little on the heavy end of the healthy weight range for that height but it sounds about right, especially if you have some muscle on you.

I have some muscle on me, I don't think it's enough to make a huge difference, though. Thanks Sol.

I'm going to wait until it's night and go running in secret. I'm too embarrassed to do it during the day-people I went to high school with live around here. Nothing like running to make people think "HA! she's trying to lose weight!"
Fuck I hate running. My chucks are gonna make my feet hurt so bad, but I'm so down for a scale change.

Get a proper pair of trainers or running shoes. You could do yourself some damage if you have the wrong footwear.

Then be very careful about running in chucks, you really can mess up your feet running without proper support.

Since we're all tooting our weight loss horns, I've lost 45lbs since November.

I've lost 10lbs in the last two weeks, though for me weight loss is not really a good thing, I just had a nasty cold and nothing was appetizing.

Erm. I used to be like 170 pounds and now I'm in the low 140s!
I guess it doesn't count considering I wasn't trying to lose weight, it just happnened.

Last time I lost weight was when I was about 7 and was sick for months from an undiagnosed infection. I went under 20 kg.
Since then I can gladly say I've grown by about 250%

Don't run, then.
If you run in the wrong shoes, particularly flat bottomed shoes, you're going to hurt yourself.

Apparently there's a lot of runners who disagree with the thing about shoes with arches and arch support in them. They basically that say shoes with arches make your natural arch weak from not working, and that feet are made for running and arches are made to support.
I don't know dick about running or feet or shoes, so I have no opinion. That's just what I heard.

If you have shoes that mimic being barefoot then that is good but shoes with a flat, non-flexible sole it messes with your foot and you don't run as you naturally should.
