Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I tend to have music moods. Some days I will listen to nothing but HIM, Manson, The Used and... Yes... My Chemical Romance. Which, these days is a rare time. Other days I'll just feel like cranking ANYTHING with screaming, growls, shouts etc. Some days I'll feel like some Black Metal. At the moment, it's more of the Gothic Rock, synth and Techno.
So at this moment:
1 - The Cruxshadows
2 - Siouxsie and the Banshees
3 - Bauhaus
4 - DJ Tiesto
5 - Daft Punk

The only 3 bands on there that are even halfway decent are Zombie, Lamb of God and Rammstein. The rest is garbage.

Some good shit? Or some genuinely gothic shit?
Being this a gothic site I'll opt for the second one:
Bauhaus
Sisters of Mercy
Siouxsie and the Banshees
The Cure
Christian Death
Specimen
Alien Sex Fiend

My top 5 (none of it Goth):
Bolt Thrower
Marduk
Paradise Lost
Rotting Christ
Napalm Death
None of which you've heard of I'm sure, since you learn about bands when you see their T-shirt at Hot Topic.
If you listen to any of that, you'll come to realize how shitty Slipknot and the rest of the garbage you listen to really is.
