It's closing in September, which is a total bummer, although it's apparently showing in California soon, according to the site. I have the soundtrack, which I listen to frequently. Tracks include "What the F**k Was That?" "Ode to an Accidental Stabbing" and "All The Men In My Life Keep Getting Killed By Kandarian Demons" It's full of fan service quips, like direct quotes from the movies, and inside jokes about Bruce Campbell and the Raimi brothers. Bruce Campbell absolutely loved it, and gave it glowing reviews.
There's a scene in the play where Ash takes on the demons with the chainsaw and shotgun, and the fake blood goes spraying everywhere, to the point where before the show, the servers hand out ponchos to everyone sitting in the first three rows, which is dubbed the "Splatter Zone."
