Oh, no, I knew what you meant...I was making a very poorly-crafted sexual innuendo.

I'm not. It has nothing to do with MCR or Goth cred.

But... I thought the Picture thread was already for flirting?

You know you want in. Remember flirting is perfectly acceptable behavior.

Even if you were in a committed relationship?

um...yes? I have been with Jake for over two years and he is fine with me flirting as long as it never becomes anything more than flirting (giggling and batting eyelashes are okay, kissing is not so okay)

I should think not. Kissing (to me) is the most intimate thing you can do with your lover/spouse.

I think flirting in a relationship is ok, as long as it isn't in an attempt to find someone new or make someone jealous.

What I think is, everyone has different levels of tolerance. But hey, I just got out of a messy relationship (its been 4 months since I broke up) and I am still completely fucked up over it, so I guess I'm not going to agree with that line of reasoning. To each his/her own.

harmless flirting can give you a boost of confidence and it is fun, as long as your partner does not mind. If he or she is bothered by it then I say talk it out (there may be underlying trust or confidence issues) and until it is okay with them (which it may never be) then don't do it

I flirt, and it isn't a conscious thing. According to my friends, my conversations come off as flirting. *shrugs* I know that if anyone I was with had a problem with it, I'd do my best to correct the situtation.

aaah, the joys of being single only problem with that is that i've been single for so long i don't even know how to flirt anymore
but then again, would you rather be taken & miserable, or single and lonely?

That sounds like something Chris Rock said in one of his stand-up routines.
I disagree, you do not necessarily have to be taken and miserable nor single and lonely. In fact, I am actually enjoying being single now. It leaves me time for other things that I am also very passionate about. Things I barely even thought about when I wasn't single. There are pro's and con's to everything.

I'm used to taken and lonely, so I get the worst of both. I'd rather be single and lonely than taken and miserable seeing as it's only a matter of time before taken and miserable leads to single and lonely.
