To witch family would you belong?
Would you rather be an Addams or a Munster? It's a toss-up for me, I like the poshness of the Addams but love Lilly's style... and just because I collect Barbies & remember these & wish I could get them because they're awesome:
Gomez and Morticia
Herman and Lilly
And just for fun: The Birds

Adams family, I remember in high school one friend actually came up with the idea of me being introduced in an episode as the newest Adams family member. It was silly, in the sort of way that high school is.... though I do rather miss it all. I'm too young to feel nostalgic dammit!
This reminds me of a forum post I saw some years back, I think it was quite similar to this, though it was dead by the time I had joined gnet. Perhaps some of the older members remember.

Definitely the Munsters, for me! Although, I'd have to sneak over to the Addams' house to visit Lurch....

I have a thing for Herman Munster, although Lily was pretty hot too... Plus I kinda like to work with Grandpa in his cellar - man that would be a blast.
The Addams family seemed a little too sophisticated for me and not as much fun

Wednesday: Pugsley, the baby weighs ten pounds, the cannonball weighs twenty pounds. Which will hit the stone walkway first?
Pugsley: I'm still on fractions.

Addams.
The Munsters never really seemed dangerous, just silly. Fun, yeah, but not to be taken seriously. The Addams Family knew how to have fun, but even in the old b&w show, there was always this hint that they really were psychopaths and maniacs.

That's what I noticed while watching the show. I absolutely LOVE the Munsters, but I love the Addams too this decision will be HARD...can I be one of the Addams but be married into the Munsters? :3

I always wondered why Eddie Munster is a werewolf while Lily is a vampire and Herman is Frankenstein's monster. Maybe I'm just overthinking things.

Gotta be the Addams family. I love the Munsters but the Addams' eat roadkill for supper and still maintain utter class. Plus they have a rack in the library.

Addams, all the way. What wouldn't I give to have been able to play with explosives as a child...
Also, the Addams Family has a much cooler house. I was comparing them several months back, in the original b&w versions, and the Addams family house completely rules. Just look at the living rooms. The Munsters eat breakfast in the kitchen and dinner in the dining room. The Addams family shows almost never include them eating, and when they do, it's taking tea, or having brunch in the solarium-- uh, moonarium, whatever that space is that is next to Cleopatra, the carnivorous plant.
Lily has style, but it doesn't hold a candle to what Morticia can pull off with that simple black dress. The only time she wears anything else is in the costume party episode where they get Lurch to dance. And then there is Lurch. Ted Cassidy was forever defined by that role.
Also, my opinion may be somewhat biased, as I was compared to Wednesday Addams as a child, and considered it a complimentary comparison to the chagrin of the person making it.

Who was it, Dysfunction I think(?) that said I look like Morticia when I first joined. I've been getting the Angelica Huston resemblance thing for years. One person told me they were watching The Witches and she reminded them of me.
Weirdos.

While you are stunning in your own right Grausamkeit, I have to agree with Beowulf, you would be a fantastic Morticia. Something about the defined cheekbones, perhaps, or the long black tresses

For me it has to be the Addams Family, Gomez was classy, Mortica was gorgeous, Wednesday was devious, Puggsly was funny and their house was awesome, I so wanted to live in a house just like it. Come to think of it I still do!
