"Gothiest" Games.
So what do you think the "Gothiest" games are? This includes cyberpunk, horror, and anything else you feel fits in (especially things that are creepy or atmospheric.) Here's my rough list, just to start off:
Deus Ex (Excellent Cyberpunk atmosphere)
System Shock 2 (Cyberpunk survival horror.)
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines (lots of vampires)
Blood Omen (Ability to telepathically suck blood)
Dungeon Keeper (You keep a freaking Dungeon)
The Hitman series (cold blooded killing.)
Shadow of The Colossus (creepy, haunting, surreal romantic atmosphere.)
Lemmings (mass suicide.)
Okay, too tired to think of more. Someone else please continue.

I love Shadow of the Colossus and Lemmings. Other than that, I can't really think of any others. . .I'm not much of a gamer.

Deus Ex gets my vote by far. The Silent Hill series also ranks up there, if we're talking about just "Dark Atmospheres", etc.
If we're referring to something that stays within the lines of "Goth" literature, then I honestly have no idea.

I don't really play it (the tabletop version), but I read their spinoff novels. By far the gothiest game/universe I've encountered is Warhammer 40,000

I'll go with the Silent Hill series and Shadow of the Colossus. That's an awesome game...
Well, do the Gabriel Knight series counts? Those have a LOT of occult references, religion, vampires...
Also they're graphic adventures so they rock.

I loved Sins Of The Fathers. I even keep an old Pentium around the house so I can play it now and again, for nostalgia's sake. Another game in the vein of dark, atmospheric graphic adventures would be Sanitarium, although I don't know anyone else that's ever played it. Still, I was beginning to think that I was the only one who had ever heard of Gabriel Knight, and that is obviously not the case. Hats off to you for proving me wrong.

Shadow of the Colossus!!!
It just sends shivers down my spine.
But it's only that good if you know the whole story of the Dormin. The creators left a whole story behind as background, but didn't almost even mention it.
Still, I have to say that the gothiest game ever is Shadow Hearts: Covenant.
It's about gods, and demons, and set in the time of the Great War.
Edwardian fashion in the cities, high Gothic in the cathedrals and mausoleums, allusions to King Solomon, secret sects, steam-punk technology, legendary creatures all with their stories and origins, and the method of lighting is very lugubrious while maintaining itself colorful.
Oh, and it's an RPG, and that's just the gothiest type of game there is.

I know most of you'd perhaps disagree, but I'd say that Destroy All Humans! is enjoyable, mainly because of its black humour and encouragment of misanthropy. It's the 'Invader Zim' of video games!

I'd say Silent Hill and Resident Evil would top my list. Resident Evil simply for the atmosphere, music, game tension and the idea of killing mutated zombies.

Final Fantasy IX
Disgea
Devil May Cry
Tom Clancy's Splinter Hunter
Many other great games, but those are the coolest.

Puh-leez, everyone knows that the gothiest Final Fantasy is the one with Sephiroth.

Hah! FF7? No way. Sephiroth was a total candyass, and Cloud Strife's hair looks like it should be in a natural history museum's "Stalactite" display.
Anyone remember Arcanum? THAT is the king of gothy RPGs. It's drenched in atmosphere; The game is permeated by a late Victorian/Edwardian style. There's swords and sorcery, for the fantasy buffs, and that strange, pseudo-Victorian Sci-Fi technology so prevalent in the works of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne for all you rivethead types. You can even make steam powered armor! My personal favorite was blasting the Mage types with an elephant rifle, but to each their own.
Even the menu screen flies its colors. It has a skull, jeweled dagger, and poisonous spider on one side, and a Victorian-esque pendulum clock and revolver on the other. The music is string instrumental, for Christ's sake.
Let's be reasonable here, and all agree with me.

Well, there is this game called "Gothic..." I don't know hot goth it is, but I think it's and RPG... However, I haven't tried it myself.

There's a board game called "Goth!" that I got like three times for Christmas. It's pretty fun, you answer trivia questions to collect grave stones. Unfortunately, it was somewhat cheaply made and it has some of the answers wrong and it refers to Bauhaus as "The Bauhaus." I don't know if they were ever called that, because I've never heard it, but I guess it's possible...

One that hasn't been mentioned is Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Magick, zombies, catacombs, gameplay that revolves around a sanity meter and even references to Poe and Lovecraft in the game seems suspiciously gothy to me.
Another is Grim Fandango. It takes place in an Aztec-themed Land of the Dead and playing it feels just like Día de los Muertos. That, and it has elements of film noir embedded in it.
Psychonauts as well. Captained by the same guy actually, Tim Schafer. I'm keeping my eye on him, I think he's a genius.
