Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Of course it's not about LSD, thats just crazy-talk. It's about a lovely young air-stewardess named Lucy and her...cat...named Diamonds!
*Edit* Oh ya...need to say what i'm listening to now.
Van Morrison - Wild Nights.

Oh yeah, definitely! Cool that you're not one of the hip-hop haters. *blows kiss*
La Quiete - Metempsicosi Del Fine Ultimo Nevrastenica Oscillazione Fra Poli Estremi
Italian screamo band. How these guys manage to be so chaotic, but play such achingly beautiful melodies so aggressively, is just amazing. There are MP3s here, in the 'echoes' section.

Oh, yeah, I kinda did... Sorry, I have bad memory at times. We should resurrect that thread one of these days, it's not on page 1 anymore. People need to hear more quality hip-hop, and not be blinded to it by the commercial bling.
El-P - Dead Disnee (Remix)
Mad, fucked up, awesome rap. I love that jagged flow.

Amen, bro. I dig Dylan too, especially "Blood on the Tracks", which has that song on it.
Nada Surf - Your Legs Grow
Very pretty, deceptively simple indie guitar pop, on the Barsuk label. Just good songwriting, touching lyrics and beautiful instrumentation and vocals. Sweet.

That is really quite cool, if their shows are anything like Dropkick Murphy's shows, your gonna have a blast. How I love irish punk. And my favorites are "Seven Drunken Nights" "Nantuckets Girls Song" and "Dicey Riley".
And life is quite good. Three Dog Night - Never Been To Spain.
Next: The Jolly Rogers - Brotherhood of the Coast. Just got their CD and i'm really digging it.

I dont know! I just picked up a CD called X Marks The Spot by the Jolly Rogers because I love pirates! I dont know if their the ren faire guys. And all the bands you listen, with the exception of Black 47, I know and love very much. Have even seen Flogging Molly a year back. That was an awesome show, except for all the nazi's.

Ya, i'm small, a bit lanky, and have a tounge that gets me into all sorts of trouble. Luckily, I know how to fight. Because i've been in so many of them...me and my tounge.

Oh, and to get back on real topic of this thread.
Paint it Black - Seven Shot Screamers. A psycho-billy band covering the Stones. Brilliant.
