I really can't say because I've never listened to them, because I have no interest in clowns or rap. Also, all the ICP fans I went to school with were idiots, so I just went by that.

Well, out of one radio interview I heard both of them needlessly bashing Sharon Osbourne. It's not that fact that bothers me, it's the fact that when Sharon lashes out at them about being "flavor-of-the-moment" they respond with childish comments like "skanky British bitch" or "give us five minutes in the alley". Not only that, but they verbally lashed out at people who attended their show, for the simple fact that they wore fishnet armwarmers. They could have defended themselves with relevant topics but they just keep bringing up the same asinine knee-jerk defenses.

Spare your ears the torture and please, please don't.
Reasons why ICP are quite possibly the worst band ever:
1. Annoying costumes and garrish "clown" makeup.
2. Moreso annoying voice. It made me want to annialate my friends my ipod when I first heard them.
3. yes they're terribly hypocritical. (for instance, one song would glorify ****, robbery and murder etc while another would be all like "cunts robbin banks and rapin hoes" etc)
4. They're ugly.
5. Terrible quality of music.
6. Their fanbase is a joke.
Having said all of that I'm really not one to put down others' music taste. heck no one is! It's just my opinion.

They claim to be leading people to god too. They say that all this violent imagery is supposed to attract those who have strayed from the light, and show them the error of their ways. This is only true in a handful of songs, like "Hall of Illusions" where they're murdering wifebeaters, racists, etc.
Yet, most of their songs are purely about the bandmembers commiting murder, necrophilia, gangbanging, prejudice, and male shovenism.

While it may seem they're making a social commentary on the crime misassociated with rap or hip hop; but honestly in the end they're only doing this for Whitest Kids U'Know-type laughs. Not to mention they make more money than most musicians do. And as Electro stated, it's quite easy to tell when a band is making a commentary or simply glorifying their subjects.
