I was just truly amazed by the perfect spelling by our friend here who said she could spell.
Look Goth Bitch because I'm basically a kind person even though some people wouldn't agree with me on that, I'll tell you what to do to be accepted as a proper member of the board:
1. Go to the INTRODUCTION section of the boards.
2. Look for the 13 questions you have to answer in one of the sticky thread, select them all, then left click and copy.
3. MAKE YOUR OWN THREAD.
4. Paste the questions, and start answering them.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. Capitalize every "I" and every word in the beginning of a new sentence.
2. Use "you" instead of "u".
3. Check your spelling in your every post and if you're not really sure, go to Dictionary . com.
4. Grammar, spelling, and capitals are your friend.
Start working on those right now.

That was very altruistic of your part.
You deserve a hug.

P.S. I'm not being sarcastic. I love giving hugs.

... suddenly, I understand the need for functional mods and admins on boards.
I have been doing my very best to ignore this child, but gods-be-damned it's a difficult task.
Small child (and small you are, till you stop acting it) please make some attempt to grasp the fundamental principles by which we regulate our behaviour here.
We all follow the same rules- Introduction before anything else, politeness to older members of the board (not physical age, but time spent here- before you misinterpret), grammar, spelling, punctuation, understanding of goth subculture to some basic workable extent.
If you have a reason for poor spelling, such as dyslexia, let us know an we will not mock you for it. If laziness or 'I dun wanna' is your reason, please leave the boards and return to Vampire Freaks, where you will no doubt be warmly welcomed.
If your reason for ignoring our other little behavioural intricacies is likewise laziness, get thee hence to VF and return thee not, upon pain of further flamings.

OMG a new post. Praise be to Jesus, Allah, Buddha and whatever Shinto gods there are in this process! Yes it was. Now, what have we learned today? When saying profanity, it only works when you spell the relatively easy word correctly.

I have never worn jeans, well not until the past two years. Now my two favourites are a paie of blue levis and the other is a pair of black tight jeans west jeans. They'e good because they make it look like I have an arse and that my legs don't sprout out of my back.

RIT is my favorite fabric dye, regardless of the material I'm dyeing. It comes in spray and powder-- The powder you mix with hot water, and it dyes the tub you put the clothes in. So don't dye clothes in it while living in rental properties.
I actually prefer the spray for more than just that reason-- I have a lot of crappy junk jewelry, chains and such, that I like to drape in cool patterns over the clothes I'm dyeing before I spray them. It's a really cool effect. I've been meaning to try it with scraps of lace and fishnet...

To quote the amazingly elegant Lady of the Manners...
Quote:
Being goth, believe it or not, does not hinge on your choice of clothing. Well, not entirely. (The Lady of the Manners still refuses to believe that pale buttercup yellow is goth, but DOES understand the “pink is the new goth” idea.) Goth is a mindset, a certain aesthetic that one feels comfortable with. There isn’t, however, a sooper sekrit instruction manual that the Goth Cabal mails out that includes a dress code...
Jeans and t-shirts are goth, velvet is goth, the Powerpuff Girls are goth. Marilyn Manson is not, but is very, very amusing.

Oh.. and if you just ignore the GothicBitch.. umm.. bitch, then she will stop posting and disappear. She is only coming back here to defend herself. Poorly. With bad grammar. And worse spelling.

That is my favourite joke ever. Along with why the one about the grape being stood on. Thank goodness for disorder.
Anyways, jeans. I wear them almost everyday. I don't think the question of whether they are goth or not should have even been posed. Jeans are just jeans. As long as they keep your covered & look good there should be no need to worry about them

Umm.. Is that question serious?
The entire thread exists because someone stated jeans aren't goth. Please tell me that you see where I'm going with this and that I don't have to s.p.e.l.l it out for you.
I suppose that this is a literary site... mayhaps some misread that and think that it means everything is literal.
