1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am currently in medical school, which allows unfortunately little time for hobbies. I manage to squeeze in some time to read (mostly sci-fi or classics), draw (mostly charcoal and graphite), play RPGs, and practice martial arts.
2. Where are you from?
Currently in Philadelphia (new to the area), previously in Balitmore and Pittsburgh before that.
3. Who are your favorite authors?
Orson Scott Card (the man is crazy, but his writing is great), Nietzsche, Neal Stephenson, Pearl S Buck, Oscar Wilde, and Gary Larson (comics count right?)
4. What are your favorite films?
What Dreams May Come, Lilo and Stitch, A Beautiful Mind, Edward Scissorhands, Hero.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Had a wedding, let the hubby pick the music (can't even remember it)
6. At your funeral?
Debussy's Arabesque #1 (I still can't play it very well though)
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Self administered morphine overdose (basically in a way where my body can still be donated to science)
8. What kind of casket would you want?
I'd prefer cremation and a cool, comfy urn. Something not too breakable, and nothing that would be mistaken for a litter box.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Honestly? My pajamas.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Not having to act like a grown up
11. What's your favorite band?
It really depends on my mood.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
See above for current education. My majors in college were Biology and Psychology.
13. Why did you join?
I miss the goth subculture. Medicine is a fairly conservative field, with fairly "mainstream" people in it, and while the company is lovely, I still miss having friends who share a similar quirkiness. For example, I was recently criticized by colleague as having "a dry sense of humor", which is something I always thought of as a compliment. Oops?
I also thought I might find out more about the Philly scene.
