Ahahahaha.
Sweet.
There's some awesome stuff in the game.
Small things like skeleton couples holding each other in bed in the same position they were when the bombs went off.
I love the atmosphere to it all.
I was messing about on my friends PS3 with it.
Killed an entire city in VATS, looted their bodies and sold it to a trader outside...
Killed the trader, took it all back!

I was dumbstruck when I first realized that you could do that in the original Fallout. I had never played a game that allowed that sort of freedom before. Granted, it got boring kind quick, as it ended all possibly storyline advances for that town, but it was still amazing that I could go postal if I wanted.

I was debating between Fallout 3, Saints Row (looking forward to making a Goth Crew) and Gears of War. Ended up with Gears... I'm reading this post now wishing I had gotten Fallout too... gonna have to remedy

I've got Brotherhood outcast armor, and Lincoln's repeater(50 damage per shot, fast rate of fire, 15 rounds in the magazine, and very accurate). Don't even think of trying to steal it from me or I'll pull out my MIRV(it's like the fatman but fires 8 mini nukes in a shotgun spread), not even a super mutant behemoth can survive it.

Ahhahahaha.
This game fucking owns.
My XBox got back today and I'd bought the collectors edition yesterday.
I'm planning on doing all the quests in Megaton.
Then blowing it the fuck up.

Yeah, but even power armor isn't as cool as the one-armed leather jacket. You know this to be true.

This game is so fucking awesome I can't be bothered to say how, because I'd have to say awesome about a million times.

As this thread's been resurrected I might add that the Ranger Armour fucking rocks.
And Combat shotguns are amazin'.

Fuckin'.
Awesome.
I started playing the game recently, and it far exceeds my expectations. Granted, the gameplay is nothing like the first two Fallout games, but I really like what Bethesda's done with it. Combine that with the fact that they kept the ambience intact, and you've got a kick-ass game. I'm HOOKED.

I just got Fallout 3 for Christmas, and I fucking LOVE it. I used to play Oblivion AND Morrowind nonstop, but this game...you can graphically blow people's heads apart, killing them INSTANTLY! FINALLY! No more needless, finger-crippling hack-slash based on HP!
And the gore...*rolls around happily in the pools of blood*...can't get enough of it!
My brother hates me now, though, 'cause I stole his computer.
Not that I really care. =_O I'm having too much fun.

The game is brilliant, but much, much shorter than Oblivion. It ends pretty abruptly, one minute your playing, the next minute your finished. Be forewarned! If you just play the main quests you will be finished in a day or two tops.

My boyfriend's completely addicted, and I started playing a bit myself and it seems pretty fucking awesome. I'm down at the beach without my desktop computer at the moment though so haven't had the opportunity to get into it yet. I love that the characters, both male and female, can have so many different mohawk variations!

The game is A+ all around.
I personally got a load of quality play time out of it and took my time to do the side quests.
Pissed my neighbors off though when i jacked the volume and let the music play load while I was idol lol.
Only drawback I experienced was the fact that I play it on PC and had a crash problem, damn thing liked to randomly crash back to windows so I had to make sure to save alot. Didnt make sense because I have a good system that had no problems running it on full gfx but I heard it was a common problem, oh well.
oh and malice... Totally gotta rock the Tesla armor with the plasma rifle. Woo woooooooo!

I want the DLC for it but I'm not on XBox live!
I also wish you could get the bihawk for male characters.
I made a female character just for the hair.

I love Fallout 3! I didn't know about this one until Malice told me about it. I am glad he did! It reminds me of those "choose your own adventure" books, you can end the game in different ways depending on the decisions you make along the way. The retro-future theme is awesome too! I downloaded the "Galaxy Radio sound track" and it is superb!

I like it a lot. It's pretty fun, if not gritty to an extreme.

Me and my boyfriend go nuts on fallout 3 and when we're watching the other its awesome to find that we have discovered different areas than the other. What's even funnier is how my boyfriend is the "The Last, Best Hope of Humanity" and I'm the "Scourge of Humanity." So we can see where both extremes will get us in the main story line. My boyfriend still gives me crap for blowing up Megaton then helping Bryan Wilks. He laughs and says that I'm big and bad until a child comes crying and pouting. I argued and then he brought up other missions where I'd tried to help children out. I feel ashamed as an evil villain.
Here's a little tid bit for you: Did you know that the creators of fallout 3 can beat the game in 75 minutes?

I bet they can! I got the copy with the DVD, lunchbox and bobblehead
for my Xbox 360. I watched the DVD, and they look really sharp. This is a game I have waited for since before puberty.

i didn't know that there was a DVD! I only have the guide which is incredible. I love how intense the world is in fallout 3. Its deep and has structure like a real society. Even religion, the Children of Atom, it really makes you look at our religions with an outside point of view. Its kinda scary, the similarities *shudders*. I wonder if aliens look at our religions the same way we see the Children of Atom.
