Trench Coats
a few questions about them
where do you guys buy yours?
could you tell me the type of trench coat that Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris wore? (you can see these on some of their youtube videos and the like)

Well they generally look horrible and can only be pulled off by a very small group of people but that's about all I can say on the matter.
I can tell by your username/intro thread/Columbine reference that you do not fit into this group.
EDIT: Columbine killers wore dusters to my knowledge anyway.
EDIT AGAIN: Apparently they wore neither. You fail.

Why would you want to look like a serial killer? Do you think you're going to scare people with a trench coat? Is this some kind of "woogie woogie woo" Jugallow thing? Do you have a hatchet? I bet you're not psychopathic, sick or twisted. The only mental disorder you have is ADD and a severe form of Retardation.

Yeah, I read what you said. I was responding to jack_the_knife.
For the record, I think that they did wear dusters. And no, I don't fit anywhere.

1. Dusters aren't the same as trench coats.
2. I don't think they actually wore them.
3. Fuck off you pretentious cuntbag.

I think it's funny how he assumed we all wore them.

I was going to comment on that.
I just thought I'd tell him how they generally look hideous.

I got severely turned off trench coats when some local so called "Goths" wore them in the blazing heat of summer and went to the shopping mall all the time in them. I swear they only went to the shopping mall for the air-conditioning, they looked beyond ridiculous!
But if you really like them then I'm sure you can find some good ones on the net. That's if you can't find any shops that sell them.
Oh and please wear them when its cold.

I wear one, when the weather dictates.
Trench Coats are very practical in some environments. But for me it is strictly outerwear.

Are these in again? Were they ever really in?
I never bought one 'cause my friend had one which she wore in summer all day long, with clothes that really didn't go. It looked ridiculous. Aside from her, I haven't seen anybody else wear them except for the random online store...
No wait. There's a guy who hangs out at a Walmart near my house who wears one. It's ratty and ugly and he wears those Tripp pants with it.
He looks like a douche though.

I have a rather nice leather one, but it's my spring/fall rain coat. It's WAY too cold to wear it in the winter here, and anyone who wears a leather trench in the summer is a flaming idiot.

Funny, here it's used as the coat for really cold days.
Are you serious? There are people who cherish their stupid image so much they wear them in the summer?

Army surplus stores, and second hand shops are your best bet. I find that trenches from your local generic "goff" store look cheap and try hardy.

I will occasionally wear the one that my grandfather gave me before his passing, but only because it has sentimental value. It's a black military-issued one made out of cotton/polyester. My suggestion to you if you do get one, is not to wear it very often or you'll look like a fucking twat.

Goodwill. Any other resale shop, or at a yard sale. Unless you really DO have the capability to order things online...

I have not purchased any form of clothing this year, well except for underwear. I often get holes in them. But I will soon hit the shops after Christmas, that is when mommy and daddy give me monies.
