lol I watch them either way. Mostly subtitled Japanese because I'm a lazy butt and don't study. Fansubs are the way to go, they post on youtube! ^.^

I'm 1/4 Japanese and have only met Japanese relatives once when I was 4. I've never been to Japan becuase we'd need my grandmother to translate. She didn't want to go becuase we would stay with her brother-in-law who likes to get drunk and sing kareoke while he's at it. -.- Meanie.

I did know that, thing is, my grandmother doesn't want to just because she doesn't like his singing!!! You can tune out a little singing for 2 weeks, right?!

Well I haven't watched all of the films, but I have watched a majority of it over YouTube (all in japanese). Mainly to the fact it never struck it big in the U.K.

Japan rules.... Anime rules, we DO need an anime thread. I have to admit though the though of a bunch of us sitting there watching anime... all dressed in black is rather, uh, unique. Anyway, just FYI....
Naruto rules, Inuyasha ruled but was canned (mid series, boo) Hellsing rules, Trigun, Cowboy Beebop, etc.... Princess Mononoke and Laputa are still classics (Laputa was an earlier work by Hayao Miyazaki and the art is a bit lacking, but the scenery and story are still quite good). Anyway, enough rant about anime, we TOTALLY need an anime forum.

Yes I do love manga. I also watched a lot of Sailor Moon on youtube. I have only a few VHS of a few of the earlier movies and when all the Sailor Scouts realize, well, they're sailor scouts. Sailor Moon never got stuck over in the US either, just a few of us are loyal to it from growing up watching it for a few years. Many people hate it.
Me no likey Naruto. I am more of a romance and humor gal. Inuyasha was good, but it was killed by being started over every 3 months or so on Adult Swim. Hellsing is so far still my favorite anime.

0.o Sweetness. I wonder if anyone there knows of some Heinkel and Seras fanfiction. I've been looking everywhere for some shoujo-ai of the two people with the biggest boobs in the Hellsing manga and have found none. How is that possible when there are all the perves out there? And then the fact there is little Kitten and she who punches out Yumiko to get Yumi to go kill things? T.T Off my rant.
