You guys all seem to have forgotten that Catch was lobotomized a few years back, rendering her unable to form a fully coherent decision/concept. All she manages to get through is "I wanna be goth. I dress like a retard, so that's goth. Everyone else sucks at dressing because they don't dress like me and I want to dress good so I do. yay!!!!!!!!"

Yah, I guess you'll stop wearing lighter shirts under black vest now. Wouldn't want to do anything I suggest even though that is a standard don't. Of course, a black shirt with black jacket is fine, there's just no point to black vest and black shirt except looking bulky around the stomach.

I wasn't around for Catch's start, I think I'd gone on haitus/semi-lurk mode. Still, I've seen trolls go legit, and usually they aren't quite as persistently stupid as this. So either she's still trollin', or she's really fucking dumb.

Out of all the celebrities in that video only 3 of them have anything whatsoever to do with recognisable goth.
And hair is just fucking hair. Having a perticular hairstyle won't make you goth. It can certainly enhance the style you're wearing on a particular day yes, but that's about it.
Yet again you fail spectacularly. Out of all the videos Catch, surely you have to be joking with this one?

It was focusing on different goth associted styles: new wave, dark wave, industrial, hard core and so-on.
I knew that there would be flack for the people I chose to illustrate everything, yet I like giving credit to people so celebrities are in the public domain. There are a few people on myspace who have nice hair like ugly shyla from ugly art. The newer goth fashions use a lot of extensions, but that wasn't the focus anyway. In addition, it is difficult getting all the information from fashion pages: photographer, model name, hairdresser or company.
Bill Kaulitz is the singer for Tokio Hotel a rising rock alternative band that represents Hot Topic. James Iha is the fashionable one in the Smashing Pumpkins. Madonna and David Bowie are fashion icons in Goth alternative. Marilyn Manson is representing Goth Industrial. Black Eyed Pea's first album release was Goth Blues in the R&B category. The band broke up over creative differences. Mainly the puertorican guy still leans Goth. Nicole Kidman is in a lot of movies demonstrating goth style and so-on.
Everyone is attached to Goth somehow. I also like that they use clean cuts and lines to differentiate their individual styles.
That video is kind of funny. However, I hope everyone recognized their hair is awful. The mo hawk isn't even on the one on the left and the one on the right has over processed hair.
If you don't want advice.... stop posting question on a pubic forum.

3 Catch. THREE ( possibly 4 if you include David Bowie ) of the people in that video had anything to do with recognisable goth. Hot topic, has nothing to do with goth , Marylin Manson, has nothing to do with goth.
