I'm canadian
I chose this title for my introduction topic because, well, everyone likes canadians. Or at least do not hate them. Moving on...
I have chosen to answer the questions proposed in the sticky thread. It may not be original, but it saves time, and it gives a quick summary, which is good.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am unemployed, I play guitar, listen to a lot of music (some of which would definitely not fit on a gothic website), write some poetry I will probably be extremely ashamed of in ten years or so. And I go to school, of course.
2. Where are you from?
I'm a french canadian. Or a québécois, but that term is often used in a very patriotic and pretentious way, and I don't like it.
3. Who are your favorite authors?
Natasha Beaulieu, Bernard Werber, Charles Beaudelaire and H.P Lovecraft.
4. What are your favorite films?
Anything by Tim Burton, V for Vendetta, Dancer in the Dark, pretty much any very good OR very bad horror movie.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Something fun. Like, the B-52's
6. At your funeral?
Something ironic. Let's say First of the gang to die by Morrissey
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Without any family or friends. I don't want them to be sad.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
I don't need one. These things are expensive, I'd rather give that money to people I like, or to charity.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I always dress the same way, a black T-Shirt and blue jeans. It's a bit bland, but it works.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I had a pretty crappy childhood. I had these huge glasses, so everyone made fun of me. I can't say I miss being a kid. Oh and by the way, I don't wear glasses anymore.
11. What's your favorite band?
Tough question, but The Smiths and Morrissey would definitely be in my top 5.
12. Why did you join?
Because the forums seemed pretty active and filled with intelligent/mature people. Please do not prove me wrong.
13. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm a 16 y/o male.
Well, done with that. I'll see you guys on the boards!

Haha, thanks for trying NachtSorcier. It was pretty accurate, actually :-)
Oh and L'Oiseau Noir, I took a look at your Myspace (I'm such a stalker, I'm sorry), awesome music list. Hunter's Kiss is my favorite Rasputina song.

I took French for five years, you'd think I'd be better at it.

Haha, yeah. I love Rasputina. =)
And it's all good--I don't mind if you took a peek at my Myspace. I'm glad people find me interesting enough to look into me. Makes me feel special and all fuzzily inside. xD
Wow, I'm such a dork.

Erm...I can think of a few threads you clearly haven't read . But seriously, welcome, you seem to have your head on straight especially for someone your age.

VIVE LE CANADA!!! Wait...are you for or against Québec's seperation from Canada? Random question...not that it will change my opinion of you. Are you a montrealer? Cause that would be totally awesome...to have another montréalais. Je me sens légerement un peu beaucoup toute seule sur mon petit ilot...

Bienvenue! Another Canadian! Whereabouts in Québec do you hail from? I personally am from one of the many suburbs of Ottawa.
We should SO start a seperation thread in Politics! Methinks I'll go do that if it's not already there.
Welcome to the forums Dawn, I like you already.

I second that suggestion Breathless...
I had written a little post way back when in the politics section about the quebec politics but didn't get any answer from anyone.

Yay Canada! Me too, but I feel incompetant now because my French is extremely limited. The one phrase I will always remember: Les pamplemousse c'est sur les table. . . Or something vaguely resembling that when you say it out loud? Psh, either way I suck at french.

Well, it's there now, poorly phrased as it is. Hopefully we can get some participation going.

Ian Punnett usually volunteers the Canadians as tastier, in the event of a [hungry] alien invasion.
Welcome!
