The longer you wait before you tell him, the worse it'll be. If you don't want to have to tell someone you've cheated on them, the best thing to do is to not cheat on them.

I've never had a guy cheat on me (at least, that I could prove...), but whenever I see someone cheating on their partner I feel like bashing their skull in. There is no need, and no excuse.

I'm going to assume that you feel some guilt or else you wouldn't bother trying to tell him so I wont tell you how wrong what you did was. Just sit him down and speak from your heart. You fucked up and you know it and he will be hurt/pissed/whatever but if you are honest with him (and with yourself) then you may be able to save your relationship.

Disregarding the fact that you're 13, you say that things are bogus with this guy. So, there's something wrong with the relationship that made you go cheat on your boyfriend. He will be pissed off at you. Let that be a lesson for the future. Even if you guys stay together, it'll end eventually one way or another.
