Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Holy fishnets Batman! Free goth music?
I thought I'd share with you all this blogspot page I found while surfing. Apparently, it hasn't been around long, but it certainly looks promising. Apparently, the guy also takes upload requests.

Looks cool Drac. Thanks.
Just couldn't help but take particular notice to this bit of text, "Music offered on this blog is for promotion and pre-listening. If you like the music, please buy it and help support the artists."
I wonder just how many people are going to take advantage of this person's site and just download for personal gain. In a way, I'm very appauled by the thought of that, but I haven't room to talk cause it's not like I've purchased a cd in any time recently. I'm kind of at odds with myself.
In any case, personal feelings aside, great find Drac!

This works perfectly for me, because I've always wanted to find more, but never knew really where to start.
Awesome find.

I hope they upload lots more (perhaps rarer albums?). Looks promising.

Wonderful find. Funny that they have the "first" goth album and then they have the latest from one of the newer goth bands out there.

Because it's like the Alpha and the Omega - The first album from the fathers of the genre and one of the latest.
Good find indeed. I actually haven't heard All Gone Dead yet, but I'm downloading it now. I hope it doesn't sound as bad to me as the description says it might. If I like 'em I'll have to keep an eye out for them at Sound Exchange.

I downloaded the All Gone Dead album but when I tried to open the folder it said it was invalid or corrupted.
Edit: Nevermind, I now know not to move a folder while you're opening it. :P

I am not to impressed with the All Gone Dead. The music sounds good, but i don't like his voice. It was cool getting that Bauhaus though. I haven't heard that in years!

I listened to the whole AGD album. "The Holy City of Karbala" didn't do much for me, but I liked all the other tracks, especially "Within But Not Before".

Gahh... the All Gone Dead was nauseating... actually... it made my stomach churn... Is their earlier stuff better?
*goes to listen to classical music to calm self down*

I'm reluctant to use it, because of all the trouble people have been getting in lately.

I enjoyed AGD's album. The singer sounds slightly like a pop punk singer, but still... it's not bad.

Oh... You're worried about spyware and other shit being packaged with it. I haven't come across anything bad from it, and I've got PC-Cillin.
