More likely, she just tried to make a point and it backfired on her so she kept on the conversation.

I respond better to positive suggestions than I do to ranting. That was my point. You don't have to suggest anything, but I am not going to listen if all you do is rant and insult me.

Wait, so... you'd rather sacrifice good advice and truth and reason in the name of pleasantry?
This, and your love for condescension, pretty much sum up why I can't take you seriously.

I'm saying that I, as most people, don't respond well to hostility or anger. You can be honest and give good advice without the hostility. Strange, perhaps, but true.

Christ.
Actually, I'm just slightly amused that the way I use the ignore feature causes you such stress.

Which one? Seems like several different ones have come up since the beginning of this odd conversation.

I wish I could, but I can't sleep. ;_;

I may try again after this episode of Spongebob, though.

Look Tam. If you're serious about losing weight. Find a Sport that you actually like doing. Then, put a shitload of effort into it. This will help because you'll want to do it because it's fun, instead of just thinking you want to do it so that you lose weight.

I'm feeling better about things this morning. Less angsty and more positive. ^_^

jack_the_knife: That's a good idea.

JCC: Thank you for your ever-insightful advice, but I must respectfully disagree.

My closest friend has massive tits. I love them! I really do understand why men find boobs so appealing.

I'm tired and have to go shopping.

It works, I chose something that involved a lot of hitting but that wasn't the most popular in America, no, not Lacrosse (I may pick that up later,) but, HOCKEY!!! I've slimmed out for the most part, but gained a crapload of muscle! Yeah... I'm fuckin' lonely... I know...

Ya know, I was just thinking that I'd love a sport that involved hitting the crap out of things. XD

The Judge is not a particularly sporty type, but does enjoy badminton (easy to master to the point of being at least reasonably competent). It's as taxing as you want to make it, so it's good for building up fitness.

Another suggestion that you may find useful.
You said that, rather than continue trying to sleep, you were going to go and watch some Spongebob. Could you possibly go for a walk instead? A half hour walk at a good pace will definitely help your body more than an episode of spongebob (however long those may be), and if you're walking outdoors then it'll quite probably be more interesting or at least more educational than Spongebob could be.

Actually, I was already watching it when I posted that, and it was close to the end. Perhaps a little exercise would have helped to tire me out sooner, though.

It almost certainly would. I sleep much better after a day when I've walked several miles in the evening, or been out dancing.

I'm staggered by both the profound tragedy and the profound hilarity inherent in the idea of a married, 30 year old woman not only watching Spongebob, but defending that behavior on the grounds that she didn't let gnet know until she was almost done.
