Arg! Yeah, I kinda hate being single as well, but my last experience got me a little paranoid now.
Wait,I think someone's watching me...

And having a boyfriend you get along with very well can suck whenever the two of you barely have enough time together for affectionate hugs, never mind anything else!

Hides under desk =
Oh fuck - I'm about to jump under the desk as well.
There's this guy at work - oh never mind. He's gone.
*phew*
For some reason I attract really weird creeps. Or men with 'issues'. *rolls eyes*

Nevan, an awful lot of people in the alternative walks of life have 'issues'. It can be damn hard finding someone without them! Had any luck finding people with issues they have under control who don't make a fuss of them?

You're right, of course, everyone has their issues - nonetheless, you get people who are capable of dealing with their problems in a mature and responsible manner, and then you get those who justify their behaviour by hiding behind their 'horrible childhoods', merely for the sake of getting sympathy and to keep you from leaving them. It's the latter group I was refering to.

Have fun, Mir!
Nevan, my first boyfriend (the one that lasted nearly two years, may the gods preserve my patience and sanity) was in the "hiding behind issues as emotional blackmail" category as well. It's really unfortunate that there are so many people who insist on being like that.
Thankfully, I've now learned to avoid people who use any kind of mental issue as an excuse to be a complete tosser!

*feels insanely sane all the sudden*
I happen to pick girls with issues most of the time. I suspect everyone have them, in some way or another. I tend to help them fix them though, which is good I suppose.

Hmmm, that just cuts out about 99.999999998% of all prospective partners.
Sometimes it seems like a meaningful relationship is an impossible thing to attain.
/endrant.
I'll quit bitching now.

Nah, don't stop bitching! Just move it to the Rant Thread instead if you want to do it somewhere other than here.
Randomness is a great place for conversation.
As for cutting out damn nearly all partners... I didn't say those without, I said those who don't use it as an excuse to be a complete tosser. I'm sure Boyfriend has some kind of little problems that aren't just an aid to roleplay, but if he does he doesn't let them get obvious or in the way of things.
Meth- how kind of you to help the girls! Tis a pity so few do.

My estimate was inclusive of the tosser part
Or maybe I'm just hanging out at all the wrong places.
Anyway - I'm off.

Any names picked out yet?
I want at least two little ones.. everyone says I will make a great mother.. haha.
If you have any questions, let me know. My mom has been a nursery/OB/delivery nurse for over 20 years, and I have been where you are.
