overdress to school?

Okay, my sister thinks I overdress to school , which I guess considering most of the people that go to my school... I overdress. I mean, wearing this Teen Skittles Tank Dress to school (of any kind) is a huge deal to most of the school, mostly because most of my school is full of ghetto people, haha. And NO ONE wears heels. I want to start wearing heels to school this year.. but literally no one except teachers do...

But what about in other places? Is it weird to wear dresses to school every day? Would it be weird to wear heels to school? Whats your opinion towards overdressing? Should I wear what I want to wear regardless?

I say if your school allows wearing dresses then wear them all you want, I dunno about that skittles dress because it looks like one of the tackiest looking things I've ever seen a person wear (aside from Lady GaGa's meat dress) Maybe instead you could try a more casual dress for school like this simple tiered dress I found on google. Perhaps you could pair it with opaque tights and some stompy boots for a simple casual school outfit that won't have children beating you with a stick trying to get the skittles out of you.

Anyone who wears that skittle dress deserves to be beaten with a stick by small children.

I like your suggestion of violence.

Please take my sticks!! My yard is full of sticks because my trees are dead on account of the drought that has pretty much devoured most of Texas.

Pretty much the same here in Southern AL. How can we be on the bay off the Gulf of Mexico and still be so dry that coffins are trying to pop out of cemetery plots?

I appreciate the stick offer, though. I assume your Texas sticks are bigger than Alabama sticks, right?

Coffins can't just pop out of the ground here. As far as I know(at all the funerals I've been to due to my gigantic family) they always put coffins in a cement vault to prevent them 'surfacing'.

Not everyone can afford a cement capstone. Have you seen those photos of New Orleans after the hurricane and the bodies floating down the street?

I thought they were a part of the regular expense to prevent things like what happened during Katrina. And to protect against zombies.
