Send us back to hell, we've had our fill of heaven
Give us back our sins, the deadly one through seven
Keep us from their hearts, saving us like ashes
Cut us down with dust, never trust in anything we're told

Once, I was in line at the post office, and the woman at the front of the line asks to buy some of the stamps that have the pull off backing. She says to the clerk with a laugh, "And since there's no glue to lick on the back, there's no calories either, eh?"
So when the woman directly in front of me gets to the front of the line, she asks the clerk "Can I get some of those diet stamps, too?"
Looney!

*Smacks forehead* I need to be more observant. Thanks for the re-direction.

I am not much of a chatter, yet sometimes it seems like I have to be one in order to really stay on top here. I will stay, however I have dropped the obligation (even if it was imaginary) to post often about things I don't especially care about. So, I'll be here, but you might not see me very often.

I don't post very frequently either. There are some threads, like the entire politics section, that I don't even read.
I'm glad you no longer feel obligated to post in every thread. I hope you'll stick around.

So, is Gnet a Yahoo! site now?
I get the Y! icon next to my Gnet link in my bookmarks.

The holiday gift exchange at work was tonight...the nurse that drew my name got me a gift cert. for hot topic! lol
She told me she got the that cuz looking around the store made her feel out of place...said everyone kept looking at her like "why are you here?"
Thoughtful though...that she would drive that far (nearest HT is 80 miles) to go to that store for me.

Congratulations ... it is a most admirable accomplishment.
Of course, to maintain this lofty level you can never post again. Awww ....
Oh, wait ... that hasn't stopped anyone else here! LOL!

i agree... they could have at least used someone beautiful like Charlize Theron, or Jessica Alba if they wanted someone younger. Lindsay Lohan looks AWFUL without a ton of makeup.

It's a rant, love.
Poor Xng I really do hope you get well soon.

Today I was waiting to go see the counsellor about course changes and this guy from band class was sitting across from me waiting as well. His shirt said "I like great sax" (he plays the tenor) but at first I thought it said "Sex" and I just about said "So do I hunny". Which would have been akward. Great conversation starter though. His name is Clark..... yeah.... *sigh*

Argh, I feel so embarrassed when I take my book out in public. It has "discard" stamped in bold red across the cover and pages, and has library stickers on it... pages are falling out. It was the only copy I could find, and I was still charged 50 cents even when it is in such bad condition.

I decided to give up meat for awhile... I spent the day cuting/triming/cooking meat products. It's not the meat that bothers me though, it's all the excess fat, veins, and grisle that bother me. Gah... I've ruined myself, I need out of the restaurant business.

I hate forum cliques (not necessarily this forum, but...). I mean, if you're friends with a mod or admin, you're protected from making stupid threads. Instead of people flaming you, you'll get praised. If, however, you're a noob, you'll get called names by a bunch of idiots with five-year-old maturity. I've seen forum cliques all over the web, especially on the yiffstar forums (they're furry). The admin gets his ass kissed almost constantly there, and if you do so much as point out a wrong done by him (like him banning you for defending yourself after a mod calls you a dickwad) he'll ban you. I just hope I never come across any cliques here.
