Hi. new here, so I'm following the rules and posting a brief intro.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

I'm a teacher...English lit mostly. I'm also a martial arts instructor.

2. Where are you from?

Born in the northern hemisphere; lived most of my life in the south.

3. Who is your favorite author?

I'd have to say F Scott Fitzgerald, but there are plenty of others: the Bronte sisters, John Le Carre, Nabokov...

4. What are your favorite films?

Frantic, A Few Good Men, Donnie Darko, Terminator 2, Silence of the Lambs...

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

I'm not getting married again. Twice was plenty, thanks.

6. At your funeral?

They can play what they want to...it'll be their party.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

Quickly and painlessly please. Lots of drugs if necessary.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

Don't mind really...in fact, that's as much thought as I've ever given the matter.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

Quite happy with the birthday suit.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

Nothing. It kinda sucked.

11. What's your favorite band?

So many: Pink Floyd, Rush, The Cure, The Church, Siouxsie et al...

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

I went to school, then to university, then back to school (to teach )

13. Why did you join?

To sample the gothic life vicariously...don't get much chance in the real world.

I tried not to give it away, but I'm sure I did. I'm male.

I was wondering if it was such a good time to join, going on how much spam there seems to be. But thanks.

I teach Taekwon-Do; the self-defence aspects as opposed to the sporting kind. Nothing wrong with sport, of course; but I feel that martial arts are about something else.

Awesome, Taekwon-Do seems like it'd be pretty powerful for self defense.
