I'm so tired.
I'm not giving up. I'm scared to. I can't quit things, because I'll feel everyone's disappointment and know that I gave up when I could have worked harder. But I feel no energy, nothing to carry me forward and let me create my own path. There's nothing worth it.
This planet is poisoned and the people are tainted. There is nothing that's truly beautiful any more, everything is infected with death and disease and criticism and I know, oh I know that I add to it.
But I can't help it. I'm trapped in this same rut as the rest of you, you poisonous people.
And I'm just so tired.

I don't want your 'it's not so bad' responses, or your 'get some perspective' comments, or your sympathy or your pity or your distaste. Because I know it's there already. I know how you react. None of you are original any more, none of you offer me anything new or beautiful. Those that did are fading, old memories like pressed, dead flowers. There are no roses, blooming bright and alive. Just dried up memories.
Aw, Delk. Sounds like apathy. I do understand, despite what you say. Damn, I wish there was something I could do for you.

There is Kontan, give her something new, the answer is right there

She's right though, this world is going to hell in a handbasket, but hell I'm gonna try sneak sandwiches out of it first.

Can we create beyond what is already created?

At minimum we can pretend to and live a life of happy delusion, escapism is the core of entertainment and by extension, possibly contentment...

Though for now, let's assume yes, the infinite is not the limit and only the beginning, I could deconstruct a shape right now and it would amuse me, and it goes beyond what is created, because the deconstruction of shape into nothing does not exist, the construction does. I recently found that destroying art is quite a fun past time.

As long as life still entertains you, it's okay to be out of ideas.

I should really be getting ready for school... >_>;;

Man, I've got this fucking job interview. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's a group interview, and I'm not one to compete. You either like what you see and I work with you, or not.

I guess I'm presumptuously annoyed that if I don't get the job because of this interview, then I've wasted my time. :-/ Damn.

What kind of an job is it for? Sometimes being competitive isn't a good thing, especially if they are looking for someone who will get along well with others. Good luck.

In response to my previous post.
Solumina- you don't get it, or you would not have said that. If you read to the end, you may have noticed my reaction to your 'get some perspective' comment. It has no effect. I knew you'd say it, and I do not care. All those 'noble causes' are just distant and they don't affect me.

HumanePain- I find a few, very rare few humans who aren't poisoned yet. But they're so fragile, and the world is crushing them. I have no means to protect them, much as I'd like to.

raggedyanne- it's not the site. It's the world. It's everything, all of us, humanity, destiny, history.

Kontan.... thank you. Strangely, that response is one I did not expect. The apathy ebbs sometimes. But it is strong in these days. Good luck with your job interview. I hope your job is better than mine. I suspect the job's part of the problem.

Canvas Corpsey- there's nothing much new. Nothing that's bright or beautiful to me, anyway.

Trust me I do get it, I've been there, nearly everyone has been there at some point or another, the only way to actually make that feeling go away is to do something, even though it feels pointless, anything else will only be a temporary change and it wont be too long before you are right back to where you are now. I wasn't saying to get perspective, I'm saying to do something, there is quite a difference between the two. If those are "too noble" or "too distant" then pic something a little closer to home, I was just tying to give an few, very general, examples.

I hate FEMA. I hate the time I worked for those people. It was an education, at least. They dropped the mandatory requirement for flood coverage in a flood plain if there was an 100 year levee.

oops.

gee, does that sting that you trusted the gub-ment?

it should.

Well... The interview went pretty good, actually. One of the best ones I've ever had. They're looking to hire 2 people. There was only 4 trying out, including me. Also, the owner kinda left a footnote for me before everyone showed up, something about how the staff is almost 100% female. They only have 1 male employee. So if that's any indication of what have you, my chances are pretty good with getting this gig.

At the same time, apparently, it's mandatory that I get a massage every month. So that I'll know the product. Cha-ching.
