Thumbs down Scene kid take over!

So why is it that kids around here suddenly think that when they put on a pair of tight pegged leg jeans or girl pants for guys and a vintage t-shirt and get some dorky chopped up hair cut that they are all of the sudden SCENE!! Goodness gracious... it takes more than clothes to be scene, it's like with goth... kids at my school think that just because i wear black clothes and bondage pants that i am a goth kid.. uh yea no.. i am far from it... i mean i have a dark personaility... but yea... back to the scene thing.. everyone wants to look scene and end up just being a stupid emo kid.. grr wannabe's piss me off..

You pretty much just annoy me. I could go over it point-by-point, but that would be overly belittling, and I'm not a mean person. I'm just blunt.

I understand how you feel, xxkiss, but I don't agree with your opinion. If we worry about every little mopey tagalong, we're never going to survive as a subculture. I say let them play their games; only WE know the difference between ours and theirs.

Wait-- Scene kids are goth? Or emo kids are scene? Fuck, all these labels are confusing me.

As far as I'm concerned, these kids how try to be "scene" got only one thing... Me, pointing and laughing at them.

Usually it's only a quick "haw haw" like Nelson as I'm walking by, because they aren't worth any more of my time.

(What "scene" they try to be a part of is irrelevant.)

Seriously, life's too short to get yourself all worked up over it. Let them have their fun. If they start trying to make you wear vintage T's and skintight jeans, just punch them in the face.

Oh god....I really don't like the "girl pant subcultures"
Not that I have anything against the people, it's just that my friend kyle that was recently punk is now transforming into some kind of "hardcore" kid...I went over there to skate and all he did was go on hot topic.com and look at the clothes.
And then when we did go outside all he did was talk about how cool girl pants were.
Next thing you know he'll draw Xs on his hands...

It's almost as if he made the transformation over night. Even changing his musical tastes.

Oh god nooo!
I had to slap my friend kyle (see above post)
I was listening to nile in the car and he said to me "Man I need to get you listening to saosin and the devil wears prada and blah blah blah"
And I replied..."How about....fuck no? all because you changed from listening to good music to shitty girl sounding guys doesn't mean you can make me do it"

Hah. Kid in my college class is "scene", though he doesn't class himself as anything. The other week, he was wearing his skintight jeans below the level of his asscheeks. T'was a sight.

NOW you have hit a spot in me.
I don't care about the labels of Goth and Emo; an idiot can easily see why are they labeled with such recognizable value systems.
But "scene"?
What the fuck is this I hear about scene?
I'm constantly hearing about Scene now.
First, it was "punks", then it was skaters, then it went back to "punks" again, now it's emos. Is this "scene" shit going to be the next one?

"it takes more than clothes to be scene"
What the fuck do I care about what scene is and if I'm not "scene"?
It sounds like another shallow goal - like the ones I wrote above - where the more you do of a certain something, the more scene you are; and ergo, it seems, the better person you are.

What does scene even mean? Is it like a fusion between emo and mosher? Because that's how I've interpreted it as...

Scene.
I have no comment about this.

Witch is quite odd for I usually have a comment, no matter how stupid it is, about everything.

It's not about emo; it's about the teenagers that change their identity in a pack of lemming-like mentality groups.
Right now, they're emo, but if my prophecy is correct, by next year, they'll be just called Scene.

Or most likely the NEXT big thing.

They could start calling themselves 'Polka' for all we know.

HAHAHAHA that would be a sight, a whole bunch of polka kids running around. It would be funny for the first while, but I'd prolly want to shoot myself after about a week or so... Polka should be reserved for setting alarm clocks in department stores.
