Small Problem but still

FINALLY GOT A RESPONSE!

UPS email verification the package is only being shipped tomorrow, May 25th.

This is still ridiculous to me though when I paid for the package on April 20th, paid 60 dollars for shipping on a 200 dollar order and now it's going to take another 7-14 buisness days to get to me.

Important part is I get my stuff I suppose.

I would still make a report on them, unless they gave you a reasonable response (unlikely) explaining the delay. I would report it in both places I indicated previously in this thread ... not that they ripped you off but that the high amount you paid for shipping in contrast to the cost of the item(s) ordered should have resulted in you getting your order a lot faster than the nearly 1.5 months you'll end up waiting for delivery. Make sure it is a factual report and not over-inflated, but other people have a right to know that is how they handle their business. You might just save someone else from having this same kind of headache.

As a person with a dozen years of retail management experience, I can tell you there is always someplace else you can buy a product. In the end, the reason you spend your money with a particular merchant is for the service. Businesses live and die on how they take care of their customers, and it's fair and right that you advertise how they took care of you ... once you get your package.

Ophelia's comment, even more excessively catty than Korinna's and only slightly less completely impertinent, was far from the even-handed assessment above, but, as Alan noted, it was also funnier. Perhaps Alan erred in not posting "Hah! That made me laugh-- BUT IT DOES NOT NECESSARILY CONSTITUTE GROUNDS ON WHICH TO DISMISS KORINNA'S OPINIONS ON LUXURIOUS SPENDING", but he did not err in posting "Hah! That made me laugh-- AND MOREOVER IT SURE PUTS A DICK IN KORINNA'S FAT MOUTH."
Kontan, obviously Ophelia's insult was motivated by a personal grudge against Korinna, and your argument may surpass hers in legitimacy, but if you think that argument is completely uncolored by personal prejudice, I sense you surpass her in self-delusion. That you want to defend your friend is plain to see, and there's nothing wrong with that, but your condemnation of Ophelia and-- unjustifiably-- Alan for passing judgment on Korinna when they possess only a circumstantial, incomplete understanding thereof would definitely carry more weight if you weren't so eager to sink to that yourself. Yes, gothicusmaximus just told you to grow the fuck up and be the bigger man-- no reason to spoil the great hypocrisy thing we've got going on here.

I'm not one to condemn confidence. Honestly, from what I've seen on here, I've seen a lot of people develop confidence, while keeping it unchecked with at least a little bit of humility.

You've tapped my compassionate side. I am willing to admit that I may have overreacted to some degree. I care about Korinna. I've seen a person find strength and courage that inspires even me. I acquiesce to the idea that Korinna and Ophilia do not get along. But on this site, I've seen it time and time again that many, you to a degree slightly included, do a disservice to presenting yourselves as untouchable assholes. In all honesty, I WANT to like you guys. But if the way you behave on this site is at all any indication as to how you behave in real life, what do you expect? As for you, I have no qualms with you, GM. Never really did and don't plan on it now. Hell, to some degree, I want to even like Ophilia, but I'm not sure if that's even possible. She doesn't deny in any way that she's any different on here than she is in real life, so I make a guess on her character by exactly what she says because she has said several times that she is who she is.

Alan, about 90% of the time, I've always liked you. THIS time, even if I'm wrong, you making light of a very dear friend at her expense that demeans her character and that's something that I simply can't abide. I'm willing to let bygones be bygones in that and to be honest, if I had the pleasure of knowing you more in person as I have with korinna, you would have seen the same reaction ON YOUR BEHALF to someone else that did the same thing to you. It's pretty much how I am. I don't allow half truths and whole lies tread on my friends' characters. Could you ask anything more from a devoted friend? Despite the fact that there are several things we may disagree on, for the most part, I've seen you to be a damn agreeable person. I'm able to admit that if in some way I actually DID hurt you with my barbs, you most of all didn't deserve them. For whatever actual wrong I've done to you that you didn't deserve I wholly take that back.

As for the rest, well... I can only hope that your depiction of yourselves are as honest as possible, but don't discredit yourselves by removing your sense of compassion. I would wager that even THAT is an unfair assessment of yourself.

I would just email them saying "Due to your poor customer service, and the fact that you haven't even shipped my order I would like a refund, and my order cancelled"
Chances are they'll either accept, or ship it immediately and be like "we just sent it, therefore we cannot refund you"

As long as you're clothed enough to avoid a public indecency charge I would think it would be a matter of taste. Mayhaps place it strategically, as in not in the standard picture post? Though please don't take my word for this. I'm not g-net admin or moderation, and neither speak for them nor know thier opinions. I personally don't see it as an issue, but who knows, I had a friend who's parents would prefer he watched brutally violent war movies than a movie with a sex scene.

Ok this is seriously pissing me off and I'm normally a composed patient person, but they notified me of shipping when it still hasn't been done. They said they would ship it May 12th and then said they'd ship it today but it still hasn't been entered. I've had it with this place.

Left an angry message on the voice mail telling them to cancel the order stating that if the money was not returned to my paypal in 3 days then I'm calling the BBB.

Might of had a few choice words thrown in as well >.>

Also, has it not posted on the carrier's site? It doesn't always show right after the package is sent, I don't really remember the time frame but I think it can be up to two days.
