Formal apology for actions done whilst under the influence

Last night, I was still under the influence of the MJ and was not thinking in a straight line. I think I may have said some fucked up things to some people, and I'd just like to apologize about that...I was not using my head. Now I'm goddamn horrified at what I posted...

Hey, don't feel so bad. I made a post when I was out of my gourd on gin and tonics. You'd be AMAZED at how long it takes to correct spelling and grammar errors on one's own posts when you're downing a Beefeater and lime! I sat there for a good long while trying to make my own typing coherent whilst attempting to close my arguement about the importance of cannibalism to the plot of "Silence of the Lambs". Maybe you just need to switch from marijuana to gin.

I might be in the wrong and might be flammed but I should say what I feel and not bullshit. But.

Thank you for the apology, we all make mistakes but over and over again gets fucking old. But honestly I have to respect the fact "if" he or she or it was under the influence, we have all be dicks at times.

So it's cool with me and was rather nice. But do not make it a habit, sure I drink and post things. But I have the thought to think about what I say. If I do get to that point I will head on my way. I will not nor do I like having to put up with having to apologize.

But regardless, thanks. Even if it was not to me. Just watch "The Wall" next time.

Anyway, I too have long said that people don't become assholes when they drink or take drugs; the alcohol or drugs just amplify what's already in their character. This makes me think I can expect similar bahavior from you down the road whether you are sober or not.

And making an apology that also excuses the behavior is no apology at all. Either the behavior was wrong or it wasn't. Have the testicular fortitude to just say you were wrong and you are sorry. Anything else is an insult to the people you initially offended and is guaranteed to make them even angrier.

Dracul Enyo, I believe in giving even people who behave like you have a second chance (I am in a very small minority here, as you can see.) I would advise that you come back and post once or twice a week, in a very humble, considerate manner - and slowly (very slowly) work your way back into people's good graces.

It's possible you can heal this. But untill I see something from you that suggests a stronger, nobler character than what you've demonstrated so far, I won't be betting on you.
