Heehee.. thankies!
Between hefting a 35lb saddle over my head and forking hay for two horses every night.. I have quite a bit of muscle in the arms and shoulder area. I also have a lot of leg muscle from riding. I tend to build muscle fast, too. Back when I worked in a barn as the lowly chore woman (my employer was a BITCH!) I would have to toss 50lb hay bales every day.

Wow, that sounds cool and bad that your boss was like that. I change semi truck tires (by hand), change/repair/rotate regular tires and other mechanic stuff.

Cool.
I was originally supposed to groom the horses and check their stats (it was a post-equine-hospital rehab barn) to doing that as well as mucking, feeding.. everything, pretty much. I would spend so much time working for her that I never had time to ride, and she still didn't feed my rescue horse whose board & feed I was working for (I was majorly ripped off.. 5 months of work for pretty much nothing)
It was STILL fun though.. I love horses.

This is similar to me. But with me it's less boob. I have to lift solid wooden pallettes right over my head at work as well as changing machine parts and running the beast. It takes 2 of the other women to lift one pallette. I walk a lot too. I also have broad shoulders :/

The world certainly need more Del's. I loved that. One of my ex'es and me had this little routine where we would point in different directions when someone asked, then when noticing that the other one pointed to another place, change simultaneously to where the other one was pointing. Confused quite a lot of tourists I reckon. It was quite the act/routine I tell you...

I don't know......I'm beginning to think this guy is kind of sketchy. But thank you so much for your advice honeythorn, it'll help me keep my fish happy and healthy.

NEVER take the word of a fish store attendant at face value. Seriously. Christ...I'm no expert but even I know that you cannot put 12 fish of any sort in a ten gallon. Not even guppies.
Stick with your six fish and don't add any more at all.
The reason I say is this.
More fish, more waste. More waste, sick fish. Not to mention that alll fish need room to swim and hide without getting in eachothers way.
The ammonia from their pee and any decomposing food that hasn't been eaten will really make your water quality deteriorate. Even with six fish you MUST do a 25% water change ( just mark off the tank depth into quarters and take 1 quarter ) every single week. Think of it as opening a window and letting fresh air in. They have to live , eat, swim and interact in a closed environment. There are no windows or doors, and so it's up to you and a decent filter to keep their " air " clean.
Gill, skin and fin problems are the most common in dirty tankwater. Even if the water looks crystal clear to you, it more than likely isn't. Rememeber, you can't see ammonia ,nitrites and nitrates, but your fish will definitely feel and show the effects if you don't change part of the water each week.
Don't forget to wash one of your filter sponges once every month or so, or if you are using filter wool, change half of it. Don't ever wash or replace the whole lot all at once or your tank will cycle again, and this will cause an ammonia spike, which can easily kill your fish.
I'm looking to get some more live plants for my 30 gallon . I did a major prune and bits are looking a tad bare. one of my Kribensis is a bit upset at the loss of hiding spots!

If you liked someone and you wanted them to know how you felt about them.
What would you give them?

Something that shows you care so something that has to do with an unusual interest of they have (best bet is one that you share) and you should attach a little note saying something about how you feel (cuz an engagement ring is the only gift that really says "I want to be with you")

C_C_T-
Um.
If there's any little trinket they've mentioned they liked, pick it up for them. "Hey, I remember you said you were after one of these. Saw it while I was out yesterday, thought I may as well pick it up for you."
