DarkIce, a release history sounds like an amusing project. I'm mulling over how to accomplish that. After my recent post of the Tenerife Trip which was a worthwhile project but a big one, I'm hesitant to start another thread anytime soon. I'm pretty slow to do that, and I think after 1700 posts I've created 5 threads, all of which are still active. I suspect the Tenerife one will be the first to die, and that's okay.
Anyway, let me think about it. I'm leaning toward a blog that will allow adult content, so I can just post the link to it here.
Wolfie, of course illegal drugs are bad. I know this is so, because in every gothic novel I read in which one of the characters does drugs, bad things happen to him or her. So I would only joke about distributing illegal drugs in the semi-fictional universe of an online forum. In reality, drugs have no place in my life or yours. So, all I can say is ... don't be a Bogart!
"Mad Love", eh? Never heard about it till now. I'll look into it, and thank you for pointing it out.
Morrigan_Dubh, yep ... "Dark Star" is an amazing film for what John Carpenter was able to accomplish on a shoestring budget. Plus at times, the black humor is so dark, it passes being sardonic. A great little gem that I need to watch again soon.
I am a movie collector, hence the lengthy list. And that was just a spur of the moment recounting from the top of my head, with a lot of self-editiing. Between video tapes and dvd's I have thousands of movies. And I haven't even watched all of them yet. I'm thinking of watching "Lady From Shanghai" today.
I recenty posted in Random the elephant in a volkswagon joke that I first heard on "The Young Ones", a British television sitcom. That has started me on a binge of making up cruel jokes about elephants. I may be the only one, but the idea of making these huge powerful beasts the victims of tragic punchlines tickles me much. So I may be posting them around the place from time to time. These jokes do not necessarily represent the viewpoints or opinions of the management or members or author.
Oh ... and no elephants were harmed in the making of these jokes.

Yessss. This will not only be amusing for us here at Gnet - but also much more convenient for changing your avatars back to something you already have used (until you replace it with a new one). You even might incorporate a counter to see how often you used a specific avatar and maybe you find out that you love 2 or 3 the most... Maybe you suddenly find out you love redheads more than blondes, but blondes more than brunettes, and so on ;-)
