The scary part is that it's only a baby. I've had to stare down some the size of my hand. Camel spiders are kind of demonic.

BlacKat, you've been styling your hair! It looks good. The eyeliners that I like are the Almay, Loreal Lineur Intense and MAC Fluidline. Yes, I know MAC is expense. That's why I only own a couple of things from them, but they are good.
If you want your eye makeup to last I suggest using a good primer. You can shell out the money for the expensive Urban Decay shizz that the makeup people love or you can buy the e.l.f. brand. I've seen glowing reviews of the elf stuff, so if you want to save money and get a good product go with them. I have nothing to complain about from e.l.f., they make good stuff. I love their brushes.
Revlon makes some good dark lippies. My personal favorites are 'Black Cherry' and 'Va Va Violet'. You can use either a nude lip liner or a black eyeliner, like I do(cuz I'm cheap and I have a lot of black pencil liners!).

It wasn't as overwhelming as I thought it would be. I hate most of the people I graduated with (annoying brats who made my last year living hell), and my best friend failed a subject so she couldn't be with us.
So unless you're gonna graduate with your friends, it's ok.

I don't have problems with shadow staying put, just liner. I'm still using the $2 tube I bought so I could figure out how to get it on straight, so no real surprise there.
I rather suspect that I could pull off black or almost-black lipstick. I look fairly natural in the darker colors that the drugstore sells - that photo is actually with the absolute darkest red I could find locally outside of Hot Topic. Doesn't even look like I'm wearing anything colored.

Ah that sucks  what did they do? Plenty of brats at my uni too but luckily most people on my course were alright. I wasn't thinking it will be overwhelming so much as boring! I figured it's more for my parents than me though, and it's not that long.
