If you check the post directly after the one you quoted, you'll find out who it is...
And Oubliette I do love a bit of psychedelia... Have you heard of the artist Alex Grey? He's the cat's pyjamas

I have not heard of Alex Grey, but I feel inclined to check him out with that review.

Freaky looking background for a freaky looking man
How about "psychedelizing" his face?

That's your first oil painting ever? Unbelieveable. So, so beautiful. You have talent, for real.
Oh, and Oubliette, I still think your drawings/paintings would look awesome as cover art. I thought the picture was of Jim Carrey, by the way...

Thanks,Kitsune and pitseleh! You make me blush! Hehe.
But I didn't create it. It's actually a reproduction of an oil painting by someone else.

I thought as much. It's still really good, though. Reproduction is difficult too.

I thought it looked familiar, in any case, great choice of work to reproduce. Reproduction is hard stuff, good work

I'm thinking of painting this Chinese woman tomorrow.Hope that it turns out alright!
By the way, if anyone has any cool painting suggestions, then I'd like to see them since I've got to start a new one at my painting class on Friday.

How about reproducing something famous? There is one I like but I cant think of the name for anything, it looks like a bald person screaming....Its impressionistic (if thats a word).

This what you're talking about? If so it's titled "The Scream" and it was done by Edvard Munch. That'd be a fun one to do either way!
