I picked the '* Metal' genre's as well as the well as mixed genres. I also put them in no real order. (Although IMO each gets further and further from 'Metal'.)
Dark Ambient is just my fav.

Sort of. Their music is often classified as "death doom". It certainly is monotonous though.

But I've heard so many names for different kinds of metal from my brother. Can someone please inform me as to what the fuck "Mummy Grind" is? Or "Swamp Metal"?

Swamp Metal isn't really a genre because nobody's been able to properly define it, but it's bands like Down, Crowbar, Kalmah.
Mummy Grind ....I have no idea.

Dark ambient, although it is not the only thing I listen to, I listen to various genres of Metal like most people, as well as some forms of classical and orchestral. I have a very strange taste of music actually.

What I meant in my first comment was maybe the OP could have added an option for us goth rock arseholes. After all you wouldn't talk about hardcore punk & grindcore on a classical music forum...or would you ? hmmm
