It's nice to hear it's in good hands now though. Way to go, GS-Jillian. That little kitten will love you for the rest of its life.

Actually I hope not, because it's doubtful I can keep it.
Luckily, I think I have already found him a good home. A close friend of mine wants to give the kitty to her sister, because she loves cats. I'm not very up to the idea of giving it away, but at least I know where the kitty's going to be.

Aww Jillian you're such a sweetie!

Anyway, regardless of where it lives, I hope it's a happy kitty from now, and I hope everything is okay with it's lip/jaw...

Kitty needs a name, any suggestions?
(I haven't even checked if it's a girl or a boy, so I'm taking both genders)
I wanted Rozz, but who else would understand it? :P

The stray cat at our sportsclub was christened 'Skellington'.

My kitten's name is Malachiam...like the demon.
He's naughty and cute and demands to be carried everywhere. He's becoming a warm, furry filler for the hole in my soul. Not that Salem likes it, of course.

Let the kit's personality come out first, then an apt name will follow. As for now- "Lucky".

Can you get a picture of the kitty? I can think of a name better with a picture.

Just don't call it minge like my friends' friend :/

I'd call a kitten something weird like boot or hacksaw...

Jillian, you did the right thing by taking the kitten in. The life of a feral cat is usually brief and tragic; your kitten, if it survives, does not need to become yet another adult cat who mothers/fathers more stray kitty offspring. Cats are not meant to be wild animals--they damage the environment by hunting endangered songbirds, for example. Good job on taking action. Next step: contact your local Humane Society, or even call a random veterinarian from the phone book for help. You need to identify the kitten's approximate age so you can determine how to feed it properly (kitten milk versus kitten kibble), and if it needs milk, someone should instruct you on the amount, temperature and frequency. If it is very young, there is a good chance it is dehydrated by now, which can kill it quickly--you definitely need to try to get some fluids into him ASAP. (If it ran up to you, you're probably in good shape: it's at least 4 weeks old and you can feed it kitten kibble). If you don't want to raise it, you should ask the Humane Society or veterinarians where you can find a home for it.

I will help you as much as I can to identify it's age and how to care for it, if you would like to Instant Message me--feel free. AIM: sugarspidersilk

I'm glad that you took in the little kitten, and it will have a good home. At least if it is with friends you can visit it.

As for names, I'd name it "Destiny", for it sounds as if you were ment to help out this kitty. Keep us posted!!

I'd say name it Faust, or maybe Mephistopholes. Dante perhaps, seeing as how it seems the poor fuzzy bastard's been through hell.
