Greatest/coolest/... thing you ever saw

"Some sights you will never forget in your life." - An old saying, but with me it works.

Some sights I will never forget. - What about you?

One really great thing to see was some north-eastern region of Canada from the air.
There was some scattered snow on the fairly "undeveloped" landscape, but the low angle of the sunlight reflected in a gazillion of rivers and creeks - putting a blinding golden glare on their winding paths and the sandbanks by their sides.
(Seeing this on any picture, would make me yell "Photoshop"!)
Sitting by the window, I almost unscrewed my head to keep on looking. `Was great.

IŽll remember this one.

Greatest thing I ever saw would be the view of Paris in the snow from the top of the Montpernasse tower. It truly is a sight to behold.

Actually, I'm going to go with the street round the corner from my house.
'Cause I walk to school almost every day of summer at six thirty am and the sun's rising, and it's next to this huge field. And the sky looks amazing because it's always full of red and lilac, and you can see right off into the distance. There aren't any cars at that time of morning either, it's basically just me. Feels like I have the whole place to myself.
That sight never gets old.

I've saw a building collapse with my very own eyes.

Several years ago I went with a girlfriend to a summer-solstice event at the Externsteine

We arrived after sunset a lil uncertain what to expect, after fighting for most of the way for "crap".
When leaving the forest, the valley was lying below us. It was like a scene from Tolkiens works.
There were countless fires and torches - and from everywhere came laughter and the sound of people making music.
As we went on, we were just wowed by the the lights, sounds and the shadows the fires created on the large rocky fingers of the Externsteine.

It had s th of a fairy-tale quality.
