It is my experience that assholes are assholes because they are assholes. This has precious little to do with nationality.

He didn't specifically insult your country, but your continent. The "Dicks" just so happened to be from Sweden. I think the emphasis, though, was on European Snobbery in general, a character flaw from which Sweden is by no means exempt.

Europe is in no way homogeneous.
