Black Roses and Hail Marys, by Maria Alexander
What did you guys think of this story? I thought is was great, a whole new take on the Mary Poppins story. It is kind of cool to not think of her as all sugar and spice, and to think she could still help given her own situation. It has an unexpected story line, which is better by far than a merely unexpected ending, which also presents itself in this short work.
