Mi Historia (español)
Hola, no hablo ingles muy bien... asi que escribire brevemente en lo que se... yo antes creia ser "goth" pero no es mas que una mascara por que no aceptaba lo malo que me pasaba... pero cuando encontre cosas reales y deje de sentirme como la "eterna victima" y regrese a lo real, vi todo como realmente es... conoci a mucha gente que tambien era "goth" solo por las desgracias que les pasaron... yo creia q el resto eran tontos y estupidos por ser todos "iguales", me corte varias partes del cuerpo, me vesti de la forma que muchos ahora hacen y me aleje de todos.... pero realmente en el fondo queria ser como ellos pero como "no podia" lo que hacia era para alejarlos de mi... ahora que veo hacia atras... veo todo el tiempo perdido... todas las cosas que le hice a mi familia y amigos... nadie es perfecto... y yo tampoco lo era... pero sentia que todos estaban mal y yo no, osea me crei superior a ellos, nada mas fuera de la realidad por que algunos de ellos tenian problemas graves como los mios y otros no tanto, pero con la diferencia que ellos si lo afrontaban...bueno... solo queria compartir mi historia quizas pueda ayudar a alguno... y si sienten que esta no es como su historia... bueno sigan ^^

No se si nos esta permitido hablar español en este sitio, pero dejame responderte.
Eso no es gotico. Eso es lo que le llamamos "Spooky Kids" o "emos"
La verdadera cultura gotica si es oscura, pero no se trata de musica, depresión, o tragedia.
Se trata de arte, literatura, y cultura.
Tal vez, si te quedaras (bueno, si supieras ingles) te gustaria la verdadera esencia de lo que significa ser gotico.
Pero, eso si, no te preocupes si te creeias mejor que otros. Muchos de nosotros somos muy elitistas la verdad.
Por ejemplo yo; yo no me creo mejor que los demas, yo SOY mejor que los demas  (bueno, que la mayoría)

Damn it! Why didn't I suck it up and take Spanish Immersion! I'm such a DUMBY! I feel like an ugly American right now.
Jilli what I can understand from your post is that you were educating him about the site and how there aren't any spooky kids that really stay around. I saw something about female victims(fourth line), and who is ugly and stupid (seventh line) I'm thinking he's calling members of the sub-culture that but I'm not sure?

I was feeling horribly dumb that I didn't understand a language that I had a chance to learn about four different times. It was the phrase that came to mind and I just checked and realized that I misused it. Opps... Is sorry the right word? Thank you e_e I'm not going to do that again.

i'd have felt and asked the same if ex-goth had said he felt like an "ugly"-native-to-his-country simply because he didn't understand english.

Xngers.. Well it was basicly a post about informing goths about the pain he experianced from being goth... I think... he messed up his youth so I gather.
Jillian told him goth isn't all about the cutting/depression/etc.
