I'll start.
My dad got his black belt last night in our karate system. I am wicked proud of him.

^ Cool. I did karate for a few weeks in 5th grade, but my mom made me quit because I got a D in Math. LMAO.
Um... well my husband and I might be starting a family soon (trying to have a baby)! We've got some financial things to work out first, but at least within the next several months to a year we'll start trying. Yay for babies! I can't wait to pick out a gothy-nursery theme. Mwuhaha.

Long story short, my boyfriend is Schizophrenic and needs meds for it, but something doesn't allow him to digest any sort of medication; it just comes back up. But I do know that when he's been in the hospital for unrelated things they've pumped him full of antibiotics through an IV, and that's never caused a problem (although swallowing the capsule/liquid form would). And in my online studies of the disease (I like to know as much as I can, so I can better be there for him) I came across a fairly new drug used to treat Schizophrenia that comes in an injectable form. I am so excited that he might be able to focus on getting better now. He still needs to see his doctor and talk about it, see if it's really an option in the first place, but it gives me hope, and it gives him hope. I'm crossing my fingers... (and resisting the urge to jump for joy)

I've been approached by a photographer who wants me to model some of the clothes I've made. It's highly likely that they'll get published somewhere - woohoo!

For almost 6 years. He was our Sensei's apprentice. Sensei took him in and trained him in body and in mind. So he got promoted far before my brother (who's been training for 11 years) and I (I have been training for 10 years.)
