You are not alone. Every once in a while (very rare) I get the urge to shave my forked beard, get a real short haircut, put on some nylon slacks, and buy a copy of the Wall Street Journal. But I fight it. Do not go over to the "dark side". Rant, and get it out of your system, and then all will be normal again.

I must say here that I actually do have a book about a llama. It's called " Along came a llama " Can't remember the authors name , but it's a true story written by W woman in wales who lived on a hill farm and decided to buy and keep a llama as a pet in the 70's.

Anyway, my point was that it's strange that I, at age 20, was aware of this hippie tradition even though my era was removed from it.

Yes it is the light side, and yes we all have little evil ideas. In my job I workdirectly for the guy with all the master passwords to the school district's computers, it gives me alot of interesting thoughts which end up eventualy as boring thoughts.

Sorry, I cannot answer whilst at work, Gnet is Forbidden by my employer's Firewall Content Filter. I have to wait until I get home to sweet St. Aubert.

I certainly did hear Kumbaya in the 60's as a kid, but had no clue what it meant, nor had any interest as to what it meant, mainly because it was always sung by a circle of religious people, and at that time in my life, I was being bored to death by the Catholic Church, and so exerted great effort in trying to avoid all things Kumbaya-ish.

Now in my oldish age, I wish desperately to know what it means, before I expire.

RIIIIIGHHHHHHT.

Oh, and I was not a hippie. My parents were deathly afraid of them, and kept me far away from them. The only thing hippie-like I was allowed to have was a home made peace sign I cut out of cardboard and wrapped in foil to hang on my bedroom wall, and I was allowed to watch Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In.

I appreciate friends coming to my defense, but DHD was not really rude at all, merely curious about what she perceived as a possible inconsistency, which sometimes leads to very interesting things (catches liars in a lie). A small detail can sometimes give away the worst kind of poseurs (I'm not referring to Goth poseurs, but people who are fake in general).
