The Flat Earth Society Message Boards........Huh?!
I’m still in a state of dumbfoundness.
Apparently in the year of our lord 2007 there are still people that still haven’t heard that Columbus sailed to America and he didn’t fall off the Earth.
There is a whole message board dedicated to the theory that the Earth is still flat.
If you are as twisted as I am, you will thoroughly get a kick out of reading this message board  .

I am the first to consider alternative physics, unpopular scientific theories, and try to understand beliefs other than my own. It is how I learn.
But damn, this site makes my head hurt....... pass the asprin, or better yet, a stiff drink.... these people are insane!

Oh, that's just freakin' hilarious. Here's a few questions and answers from the FAQ...
Q: "Why do the all the world Governments say the Earth is round?"
A: It's a conspiracy
Q: "What about NASA? Don't they have photos to prove that the Earth is round?"
A: NASA is part of the conspiracy too. The photos are faked.
Q: "Why has no-one taken a photo of the Earth that proves it is flat?"
A: The government prevents people from getting close enough to the Ice Wall to take a picture.
Q: "How did NASA create these images with the computer technology available at the time?"
A: Since NASA did not send rockets into space, they instead spent the money on developing advanced computers and imaging software instead.

I just spent a while giving the sight a once-over. Flat-Earthers remind me of holocaust-deniers.
Yes, to my astonishment, there are really people who deny that the holocaust actually happened. And now I find out there are people who still believe the world is flat? I like to think of myself as a reasonably open minded guy, but...

I love these people. I discovered them a year ago. They are excellent for a good giggle.
Oh, if you want some good humor, look up The Mad Revisionist. They write parody stories, kind of like The Onion, one of which talks about how the moon does not exist.

Hey, if this is true that NASA, instead of going into space, put money into computers and imaging technology to produce photo-realistic pictures of a fake round Earth. Does this mean that we can thank them for Photoshop and Industrial Light & Magic?

Having read the F.A.Q. I find myself wanting to believe that the site is an attempt to make people who blame everything on "the government" look silly. However, my dad and the F.A.Q. tell me it is serious.

I saw this site a while back.
I find their ideas entertaining.
It'd make a great sci-fi movie. Proving the Earth is flat as opposed to round.
