I want to learn a language but haven't made up my mind what one here is the list..
German
French
Russian
Japanese
Chinese
Now help me decide!!

That being said, Russian was cooler than fuck. I loved the Cyrillic, I love dteh 3rd Internationale, I loved the politics of the language... it even sounds more solid than everything else combined.

If you are going to learn a new language, why not learn a new alphabet, eh?

German. It's a very cool language, relatively easy to learn, and there is a good amount of german rock music, so it comes in handy when attempting to figure out the lyrics to german songs. Also, german drinking songs are a must know.

Learn ALL of them. It will take some time, but it's worth it. And business wise- you'll be in a much much MUCH higher demand!

I'm getting back to those languages to become fluent in reading and writing them. Right now I can only speak them. And instead of Chinese, I'm learning Korean, but I'm sure I'll add Mandarin in some day. I'll have to if I want to stay on the top.

Also- get the Rosetta Stone program. It's really good. It's definitely worht the money and every bit as great as people say it is!

I speak japanese decently, and I just started french. I like japanese better. But french is easy.

I would not choose German. I took it for three years and wanted to kill myself. Uggh, I don't even want imagine what it's like trying to write in Russian, Japanese, or Chinese. Which is why I think French would be the best. It's easier to sound stupid than very cold and tonal. Yeah, I know it sounds horrible, but a lot of people find it very agreeable. Actually, all those silent letters would piss me off.

Thats what I plan doing but I don't think i can learn them all at once.

Btw the learning Japanese link has great quizzes but I can't find the actual lesson part.

Oh heavens no! Don't try to learn them all at once. But I'm just saying why not learn all of them. To start, you may want to try Japanese just because it's fun and knowing it will make for feel super cool above knowing the other languages.

I'm working on Russian right now. Then when I've gained fluency in that, I'll go back to French. Then Japanese, then German.

Then I'll get started on new languages. Mandarin and Korean. Learning is fun!
