こんにちは!!おげんきですか!
こんばんは!
Hello, my name is Kaleb (spelled funky isn't it). Well, I like to red, write, dance, and most importantly of all, study japanese. I love to participate in debates about a variety of subjects. I'm currently in 9th grade (ya I'm a freshman), but I plan on graduating a year earlier, so it doesn't matter. I've been on Gnet for a while, but have never done an intro, sry guys. But now, I decided to do one, lol. ^__^

So many things that are wrong with this intro I don't even know where to start...
I also advise you to ditch the characters too because it's not only gonna cause problems with people who can't get them to show up, it also won't impress anyone who's not an utter wapanese. (I won't be surprised if the characters are wrong)
You've been here longer than me and you can't do a better intro? But seeing that you're black too, you've upped it to 5 so a small kudos is to be given.

Umm...sorry, I didn't know japanese font wasn't aloud. And also, your being a bit harsh, and no, what I typed isn't wrong. In your opinion, it wasn't a great intro, and I respect that, but I didn't really know what to say and stuff soo.. Oh, and I'm not a wapanese, I'm happy with who I am and am not trying to be japanese, I'm actually interested in many languages, hence why I want to study linguistics, just so you know.

Ah, that's a relief. Sorry 'bout that. A little bit cranky today, just keep it simple around here and you might want to work on that typing.
And they give you a 5 minute grace period for editing. Xombie, I'm not always so cranky. :P

What does me being black have ANYTHING to do with it? So your saying since I'm african american, that my intro is to be given small kudos, or more than I deserve? So, your showing pity towards me? I dont understand, please explain.

Well he edited his post, if you look at the end of it, it was changed since the first time I saw it, and he made a comment about me being black.

Uh, if you'll look at MY intro, I said I was black too. That was my contained happy happy joy joy reaction. And I'm female. Wow, this is just a circle of overreaction on both of our sides. *insert hilarious yet ridiculously large picture of different facepalms*

I can't believe noone asked him to complete a sticky!
Well...if you please magickaykay, there's a sticky....at the beginning of the general boards....with fourteen questions....
That should help with your composition of an intro!
Oh, and Watashi wa Jack-chan (hai, chan) desu. Hajimemashite.

Wormboy, you really shouldn't tell people how to appropriately refer to their ethnic background, especially considering her use of a term advanced by the black community as a means to show pride in their heritage, which has been supported by people FAR more important to that community than a white teenager, is totally understandable. I'm a third generation immigrant, and I still consider myself to be Irish-American, I don't care if you hate the term or not.

Um.. why did you self-honorfy yourself. When talking about yourself or your name, you never say or put "chan" "san" or "kun" after it, since you are talking about yourself. It's thought of as very arrogant to do so, but it's k! ^__^
Thanks for the welcome guys!!
