I like Dark City and Ninth Gate.

Dark City is by that guy who did the Crow. Sometimes it's fun at a restaurant to push the hanging light over the booth back and forth and say, "Look. I'm the director from the Crow."

Has anyone seen `Slugs` ,this film is cheesier than a swiss cheese factory.

Slugs is about a horde of man eating slugs that infest a town after being exposed to, yep, you guessed it ... toxic waste. If you like your films cheesey, then you will love it !.

I finally got a copy of 'Vamp' on dvd the other day. Not sure if it classifies as a B movie, but it's probably my favorite cheesy flick from the 80's/90's. I have an unnaturally disturbing thing for Grace Jones, for some reason. Heh.

I couldn't find it anywhere by itself, even online. Had to resort to a whole box set of campy cheese films, that included Elvira, Killer Tomatos, a couple others.

It's a trip, it's fun, it has really cool songs, etc. It's fucking Oingo Boingo man! Should there be any other reason for me to like it?

GEISHAGIRL: I remember seeing that flick on The Movie Channel at age 12. Starring Tattoo & young Danny Elfman. One of the sketchiest flicks I've ever seen. Fun to watch & disturbing at the same time.

I saw that too in 3-d, it was my first 3-d film, I must of been 11 or 12 (a long time ago in a cinema far, far away.....it is a period of civil war Wrong film) at the time, the scene with the needle (that was between YOUR eyes) freaked me out.

But as you said, Pathogen, it was very derivitive of the Mad Max films, but those post apocalyptic flicks (hey that rhymes) were all the rage in the `80s (as were Apocalyptic flicks).

This film is cool, giant radioactive ants rule !.

Ben Peterson teams up with F.B.I. agent Bob Graham to find out what's causing the strange occurrences. They find send a strange print found at one of the crime scenes and it is sent to the Department of Agriculture. Doctor Harold Medford and his daughter Doctor Patricia Medford arrive and ask to be taken to the scene of some of the disappearances. When they get there they are shocked to find gigantic ants, whose mutations were caused by the first atomic bomb explosion nine years earlier. They manage to destroy the nest of ants, but not before two winged queen ants and a couple of drones have hatched and escaped the nest. Now it is a race against time to find the two queen ants before they can establish more nests and hatch more queens. (IMDB)

Cool speakable Horrors From Outer Space Paralyze The Living And Resurrect The Dead!

Plan 9 From Outer Space is my favourite Ed Wood film, it is Ed Wood at his best.

"Criswell: Greetings, my friend. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future. You are interested in the unknown... the mysterious. The unexplainable. That is why you are here. And now, for the first time, we are bringing to you, the full story of what happened on that fateful day. We are bringing you all the evidence, based only on the secret testimony, of the miserable souls, who survived this terrifying ordeal. The incidents, the places. My friend, we cannot keep this a secret any longer. Let us punish the guilty. Let us reward the innocent. My friend, can your heart stand the shocking facts of grave robbers from outer space? " IMDB

Bride of the Monster is really good as well, Tor Johnson was so funny as Lobo, but the rubber octopus ruled. They had a season of 1950`s B movies on the Sci-Fi channel a few years ago.

Army of Darkness! which is one of the Evil Dead series.

I love that movie, I especially like the ending battle. Its so obviously fake that it adds to the humor of the movie.

Another one of my favorite parts is when Ash tells Evil Ash "You ain't leading but two things right now: Jack and Shit. And Jack just left town"

My favorites are:

Razorblade Smile
Gingersnaps
May
Eternal Blood (Sangre Eterna)
Doom Generation
Cradle of Fear
Tromeo & Juliet
Dead Alive
All of the Evil Deads and Army of Darkness
Dagon
Shaun of the Dead
Gypsy 83
Freeway
28 Days Later
Cabin Fever
Ravenous
Event Horizon
Vampires Anonymous
Modern Vampires

Some of these may actually have had a larger-than-B-movie budget, but they still had a B-movie feel to them.

Hi Pathogen! Razorblade Smile is a low budget vampire movie, with the main character, Lilith, being a paid assassin who hangs out at a goth club. It sounds kinda lame, but the ending is such a cool twist, it made this movie one of my favorites.

Sangre Eterna is the very first Vampire, or even horror movie for that matter, to be filmed in Chile. It's in spanish with dubbing or subtitles. All of the main characters are goths that are in college, and I really felt that this movie portrays goths in a totally realistic way...not all cheesy like other movies. All of the cast is so utterly gorgeous, as well as the young director/writer. I swear, if the goth club in the movie actually exists in Chile, I'm moving there tomorrow!

Plan 9 From Outer Space
Astro Zombies
Phantom Planet
Monster A Go-Go
Army of Darkness
Zombie
Vengence of the Zombies
Phantasm
The Screaming Skull
and...

...Santa Clause Conquers the Marsions. (Not really, but the movie does exist.)
