i was told to post this in this thread soo...:

hi everyone! this is going to sound totally lame but i'm doing a project in my speech class on the history of goth, where it started, the style, stuff like that. are there any websites that could tell me about this? ive found a few but theyre mostly the objective "goth is evil" shit... i'm stilll looking though. i need 5 sources so if you could help me with my fact hunting i would appreciate it so much!

If anyone tells this chick to answer the questions on the sticky it will be obvious that him or her herself is a fucking noob who doesn't get the purpose of the intro questions.

Just help the girl with her project and move the fuck on.

Okay, first of all, are you doing the history of gothic architecture or literature, or goth as in the subculture? I'm assuming the latter.
And is your school the type to completely dismiss Wikipedia?

CPR, try this:

Also just go to your browser and post the word 'goth.' Good luck.

The wikipedia entry is quite accurate, though.
