Well I can understand what your saying. Im a christian, Ive attcepted christ as my savior. I go to church on sundays (if i have gas, i usually dont, in which case i just stay home). I come home everyday and listen to godsmack, NIN, or whatever. I dont worry about what the lyrics are saying. I listen to the music. its if you start believing them when its a sin. To me its all just music. dont always listen to one kind of music. try some variety. Just like if you're feeling depressed dont listen to depressing music(if you feel stupid dont listen to stupid stuff like barney, teletubbies, avril lavigne, etc.).
Your music should not dictate what you beleive.
oh, and FYI, people like you better if you use correct punctuation.

Do you have to believe in the bible to be Christian?
I believe in Christ and the holy trinity but the only thing I believe from the bible is that the ten commandments should be lived by and that one commandment is no more important than another. Also that Jesus really was on earth once already and will be back for the rapture though I do not know too much about the details.
I have never actually sat down and read the whole bible, but I have read and memorized some of the passages, and to me they seem more along the lines of history and the views of society. Does anyone else who is Christian,Catholic,or of a religion similar to these, feel the same?

Well, my christian school says christianity is about believing Christ is your personal savior.
If it's about the Ten Commandments only, but no Christ, I'd consider it Judaism

Back to God or not to God, I'm neither way inclined. God is clearly a hypocrite, read the Bible and you'll see what I mean - he's not as lovign as he claims. There's a lot of nastiness in there. Anyway, Satan isn't getting my soul either. It's mine (come to think of it, as are several other people's souls - not joking) and I'm going to keep it.
