Another new face

- What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I love watching movies, talking about different religions & philosophies, most things medieval, listening to and writing music + I have recently taken up drawing again after 5 years.

- What are your favorite films?
There are WAY too many films I love to list here.

- What music do you want played at your wedding?
I'ld let my bride to be decide that one

- At your funeral?
Probably Rob D - Clubbed to Death because I love the piano in it or some movie theme like the one from Requiem for a Dream etc

- This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Of old age...

- What kind of casket would you want?
Shiny black casket with dark red lining inside

- What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My cape & vampire fangs... just joking

My favorite outfit is a nice pair of shoes, pants and a shirt, all black of course, and each item of clothing's fabric has a different texture so I don't look like a solid black mat.

- What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Being able to talk to females without them thinking all I'm interested in is sex

- What's your favorite band?
Though most of my musical tastes are in the metal subgenres (hense my choice of username) I also listen to most other types of music

- Why did you join?
After lurking here & there for the last few months I took the plunge I registered. Though I am not a goth or part of the subculture I enjoy the literature, love the fashion & enjoy the odd goth rock album

- If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I am male

Welcome. I would love to hear the Requiem for a Dream theme at a wedding. It's chillingly beautiful... ^-^

I'm Donni or Dementia. :]

Thanks for the welcome

Donni ~ Yes it would be chillingly beautiful at a wedding but when I pictured it in my mind the premonition was much more tragic... a beautiful, young, tearful woman being forced to marry against her will, looking back at her distraught mother as her father forcibly walks her down the aisle towards the alter... not what I wish for if I was ever to wed lol.

Noted, and understood. But you have to realize any wedding I'd be in or directly involved in must carry some element of macabre. ^_~

Welcome, please enjoy your stay.
Ummm... yeah, that's about it.
Oh, yeah, I don't get what you mean about not being able to talk to women without them thinking you want sex, I mean, their minds would have to be permanently stuck in the gutter if they're all "oh he said hi, he must want in my pants."
What kind of women do you know?

Thanks for welcoming me guys

Beowulf ~ Yes I do like Darkthrone. Also, Satyricon, Svartnar, Summoning, Profundi, 1349, Taake, Vinterland, Burzum, Emperor + a few more BM bands. I like other types of metal, & music in general, but rather not spend the next few hours listing bands I like

GothicChristian ~ That's pretty much how the females where I am from think. Just because every other guy that talks to them wants to get them in bed doesn't mean I do. Don't get me started.... lol

Welcome to gNet. I'm somewhat a fan of black metal myself, but I was wondering if you could help me. I can't seem to find anything in the vein of Tsjuder or Carpathian Forest... very raw and powerful, as opposed to the usual sound of bands like Darkthrone, Graveland, etc.

Thanks for the welcomes

RavenHallows ~ Yes I am into visual arts though I haven't practiced any for quite a few years.

Draconysius ~ I haven't heard much from the two bands you listed so my recommendations could be way off so your guess is as good as mine. By what I can remember I would probably recommend 1349 but again I could be way off.

Draconyius - I suggest the bands: Massemord, Graveworm, Gorgoroth, Silencer, Old Behemoth, and Burzum.

Welcome!

P.S. Graveland sucks.

He knows the kind of women that know the kind of men I know.
