Hello I am (as im sure you are aware) new here. To answer some questions:

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Artist, poet, I love to read, i am currently still in highschool.

2. Where are you from?
I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. I currently live in Idaho.

3. Who is your favorite author?
I have to many to count. A short list is Garth Nix, Christopher Paolini, C.S. Lewis, Darren Shan, Bram Stoker, Anne Rice, Roger Zelazny, Margeret Weis, J.K Rowlings, Tracey Hickman, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Stephen King, and Micheal Crichton, to name a few.

4. What are your favorite films?
A few that I like are Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, The Matrix series, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Van Helsing.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I dont know.

6. At your funeral?
I dont know.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to know i am dieing so i can accomplish some of my goales before i die.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I havent given it much thought.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Black anything under a black trench coat.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I am not sure.

11. What's your favorite band?
I like Korn, Disterbed, Nickle Back, Etc.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I am in highschool. i dont know what ill major in when i get to college.

13. Why did you join?
I wanted to know what gothic really means. I have heard some rumors, but is dont really know what it means. I dress in black and conect with other gothic kids at school, but im not sure if they really know what gothic is either.

14. What is your gender?

Thank you angel011, that was very enlightening. It turns out that I have very much in common with that definetion. On another note I noticed that those who posted here dont seem to think to highly of the bands I mentioned.

Liking a band is just a matter of personal taste. If you stick around for a while you'll find out that the members here listen to very different types of music, and no one is bothered by it. What annoys people are statements like "Marilyn Manson is sooo goth", "Green Day are such a hard-core punk" etc., because Marilyn Manson is not goth and Green Day is not a punk band. And this site gets more than its share of kids who think they're very goth and very kewl just because they listen to Marilyn Manson and wear black, or because they're "weird" and "disturbed" and "dark", or because they cut themselves, or because they're into BDSM, or a mixture of everything mentioned.

Mind your manners, try minding your spelling, grammar and punctuation, have something interesting to say, and you'll always be welcome here.
