I felt like whining now. Lately, like the last 1½ year or so, I have been very lonely 
I have few friends and no romance in my life. Cheer me up? ^^

I'd go with Honeythorn with finding a new hobby. That's my default answer when people whine to me about being depressed or lonely and whatnot. Also, it helps to notice the little things that people (who care) do for you.

Music is always a good way to meet people and make friends. Pick an instrument, practice practice practice, then go to some public place like a park and start playing for fun. See if any one notices you or becomes interested. You have the potential to meet other musicians and people who like the music you play. If this does not attract attention, break your instrument in a boisterous manner, then see who notices!
