What's made my day today? Watching BANGO, the mascot of the NBA basketball team the Milwaukee Bucks, climb a sixteen foot step ladder, stand on the top rung, do a back-flip off of it and slam dunk a basketball through the hoop on his way down!

Bango pulls off a stunning stunt

That's why I love Wisconsin ... even the lawyers are all drinking beer and saying shit like, "Well, he could break his neck ... but hell, I sure would like to see that myself!"

I had to go over to my mum's to pick some stuff up and no one was in. Then I found the book I've been looking for and it was really cheap, and finally I came home and my boyfriend is cooking lunch for me. All in all a day made of awesomesauce.

Going to work on a weekend (bad). Getting caught up and meeting deadlines (good). You can get a lot done when the phones aren't ringing.

Best joke of the 2010 White House Correspondent's Dinner was by Jay Leno:

"We found out Republicans were attending a lesbian bondage club. We knew they were against lesbians getting married, but who knew they like seeing lesbians tie the knot?"

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

It's Cinco de Mayo weekend, so when I went to get the mail today, there were several horse trailers and horses waiting nearby for their turn to march in the parade. Such wonderful creatures, the horses are.

New Crystal Castles album, roast lunch, cake and a few bottles of pear cider have combined to make my day rather good so far.

My day is going so well. I woke up rested next to someone beautiful. Made an awesome breakfast, and have been gardening since 9AM. I'm so happy.

Tonight I'll see a movie and then eat the roast I've been slow-cooking.

Ophelia, on the occasion of that announcement, I am officially jealous!

Enjoy!

Now I'm going to be thinking of slow-cooked roast all day.

I found an 80 gb iPod in my backyard that somebody must have left the other night. I sent a mass text to everybody that I remember being over, and I mentioned it on facebook but nobody has claimed it. Woo!

With Apple's new views on facism and monopoly surpassing anything Microsoft ever had, iPods are gonna be worthless in a year or two probably.
Rumours say that they are gonna put adds on your iPod that'll interrupt your music and require you to confirm having heard the add to be able to use your iPod.
This appearently is possible because Apple still owns the things you buy from them via their terms of agreement.
I do not have any reliable sources at this time, but with their monopoly with the iTunes crap etc. it sounds plausible.

See the Apple related thread in Spooky News for more Apple/Steve Jobs criticisms.

Y'know, until recently I was about to buy a Mac and become a real Apple user, but now I wouldn't touch their crap even if you paid me.

Anarasha, name ONE major phone manufacturer that does allow a foreign OS loaded onto, or changes to the OS made, by the end user?

As for the commercials, that is utter bollocks.

I was very grumpy and out of it this morning, at 5:30 ish. I was bought coffee.

I was scheduled to work at 7, and got very little sleep.. I got to work and my manager's like "didn't you get the memo?" "umm.. no?" "you don't have to come in until noon" "....oh"

But it's a beautiful morning, and I have an awesome friend. I'm in a pretty damn awesome mood.
