OMFG!!! I AM GOING INSANE!!!!
My boyfriend has to work a graveyard shift tonight untill 5am and I am left home alone with my cat!!!!
I am freaking out! Hate, Hate, Hate being home alone. 
Haven't been alone at night in years.....
Need human contact!
I'll prolly stay up on the pc most of the night with like a pot of coffee and my cat close by.

Yesterday my new class of recruits and I spent most of the day in training classes about how to rerate a customers bill and other such things. So we only spent one hour on the phone taking customer calls.
Our performance is rated on a number of things, one of which is Average Handle Time - basically, the average call length in seconds. We get reports each day about how we did the day before.
So during the one hour we were on the phone, I took care of one customer - a scatterbrained, ADHD-affected, paranoid, elderly woman who would not stay on the same issue for two minutes. And man, did she have a lot of issues.
So my one call lasted about 1 hour and 8 minutes. That gives me an AHT for yesterday of 4080. Previously I was averaging 690-790. The goal is to get under 395! I wonder if this is some kind of record?
Fucking hell, I hope they don't decide to discuss my stats in front of the class today!

Oh that sounds like a nightmare, Ben.
I worked in a market research company once, and we were required to phone up people who had agreed to take part in a weekly survey. And every week I would ring this old man (he sounded old) and it was probably the only phonecall he would get in a week. He would love to "chat" and would constantly go off on tangents. I would try my hardest to get him back on track and answer my survey questions. It brought up my average amount of calls per day right down.
I find talking to people I know on the phone hard enough. Talking to strangers was hell!

OMG Xengulia thanks for keeping me company last night! You're a savior.
My damn pc kept beeping when I would turn it on. Then it was all slow and shit and wouldn't load anything.
I had like 3 lights on and just ploped on the couch and played Final Fantasy X. Eventually I passed out. I can't believe how scared I was. I was like a little kid. :P
